Sounds fishy to me...
If my phone runs down, I put it on charge right away... if it died last night, I'd have charged it overnight so it'd be full in the morning. ( I actually top off when I get home and it charges overnight anyway... so it's always full when I leave in the morning )
In the event mine does die for whatever reason... I can get get about 13 hours of time in 15 minutes of charge with my latest phone ( the new ones are even faster/better than that now )
