Good lookin' little'n there LD.... :)

Just finished up another 5 radar site road maps... Louisiana is now done... :D

I'll be glad to get enough states away from Texas so I don't have to add that big honkin' state in before trimming back to the radius I need for a site. I'm guessing that the radars around California may also add a bit of load times as well...

RD did you see this ??

    May 12, 2017

If you haven’t heard, Yahoo plans to sell its operating business to Verizon. We anticipate the completion of the transaction to occur in June 2017. At the completion, the Yahoo operating business will join the Verizon family of companies, and Yahoo Holdings, Inc. will be offering the Yahoo services you love and enjoy.

In connection with this proposed transaction, Yahoo is updating its terms of service to reflect the Yahoo Holdings, Inc. name and to add the following sentence to Section 28: “Yahoo may freely assign the TOS and all of the policies and other documents incorporated or referenced in it (including all rights, licenses, and obligations under it or them), in whole or in part and without notice.”

These updated terms are effective immediately for any new user registrations. For existing users, they will automatically be effective on June 8, 2017, unless you cancel your Yahoo account(s) before then.

That’s it! We look forward to continuing to deliver your favorite products and services.

I wonder if Yahoo mail will still be free

I'd seen that... made me wonder about several things ( including the free accounts )...

First, just to get it out of the way... AFAIK... Yahoo just sucks. Their main "portal" page is plastered with a ton of advertising making very slow to load even on a fast connection. Their email services have be lackluster and unreliable, most email problem calls I get are caused by their servers being down. AT&T has their email provided by Yahoo... it'll be interesting with Verizon, their direct competitor, on how that will end up going in the end.

I hope that Verizon can turn things around for Yahoo... but they've got a big hole to climb out of in order to make it a viable investment.
