That thing ended up nudging East just enough to no longer be aiming at my front door - I was a bit freaking !
Lost my power about an hour before the worst was to hit here...MERCY it was awful to listen to it and not have the TV to drown out the sounds !
Had a while where the gusts were making me think I should get into the closet. At one point I wondered if there was also a tornado, but my eyes told me no while I was looking outside...it just 'didn't look like it'.
My power came back on yesterday evening, they had told us 7 - 10 days !!
I think we are on the same grid as the fire station so...probably why sooner. Feeling really blessed about that !
No house damage.
3 houses up lost an oak tree, lots of pool cages missing screens. That is all I see from my front door and out the back. I haven't gone out for a drive yet.

Good afternoon everyone...Today was day 1 of clean up from wind damage. Nothing serious, just tree limbs and leaves.

Well decided mom shouldnt be in the heat, so we repacked and headed south to ft laudrdeale at my cousins because he has electricity I have 40 hours PTO so i'm taking it now don't need to be back to work until the 23rd

I've heard they are hoping to have most of the east coast of FL's electric back on by this weekend... hopefully they can get close to that goal.

Glad everyone seems to being doing okay. It seems we are only missing one Florida check in?
Finished first round of dog and daddy training assessment. We did fairly good, only a couple things we didn't know how to practice. Still don't know how to practice without a wheel chair, medical bed and strangers. But we will figure it out. On to the next level.
