Tablets are certainly handy... but they don't replace a desktop computer completely. As for the games, since they'll need to be installed... I'd suggest just downloading their setup file onto a USB thumb drive, much easier/quicker than a CD or DVD disk. IF you are trying to get an online game, that won't work, they usually aren't made for working offline also.
