Just got back from dropping the ex-GF off at her place... On average, they usually don't release a hip replacement patient until the 3rd day ( not including the day of surgery )... She'd done so well with therapy that they gave her the option and she jumped at the chance...
My own observations... Getting into and out of the truck, she moved a little slower but didn't grimace near as much as she would before the surgery. Walking up to her house, up two steps and to the front door with her walker... she didn't need to stop and rest from the pain as she did prior. When I asked her to describe her pain level etc, she said it was probably as much and certainly over a larger area but it wasn't as sharp and easier to bear.

I like Blueberry Hill myself, but both those songs are good stuff too. They don't make music like they used to, that's for sure!
Well the girl has 3 ruptured disks and a possible tumor. She has no feeling in her leg. I am running myself ragged trying to do everything. So please excuse my absence lately. Love you all.
