Good evening everyone. OK seriously, what is wrong with the people that like to rebuild?! You all must like agony, I'm so frustrated!!! I got a better screwdriver, but I can't get the stupid leads on the wires trapped down under the screws so I can tighten them! I managed to ruin two perfectly good coils in the process. Grrrr.
Put a tooth pick in the coil to help stabilize it during install... Yes @ times, i have thought a cigar would beat rebuilding an atty. That was last year. No going back now, er today. Some rebuild able attys, i still do not attempt. IE protank coils, just way to small for my old eyes and big fingers. Kaleb, dont give up. It could be the 20th attempt that works. I usually quit near the 18th. (golf joke) I hope every one has an awesome Saturday.

Good morning DV :) Happy Sunday

I'm sorry to read that you've had some difficulty setting up your RBAs, Kaleb. There's definitely some learning curve to handling all of the tiny parts and we all get frustrated with it at times....or at least I do :D I've even put it down and walked away from time to time. The only thing any of us can do is keep working at it

Have a good one all! :thumb:

Morning, going to be a nice day today

I don't personally use RBA's due to the trouble, if I had extra time I probably would but I have issues with them also (all my fault)
I have ruined many, many coils.

    Don't give up Kaleb :)

Yes, I don't use them all the time...only at home. They can be finicky, at least for me, and I don't want to be "stranded" when out and about

There is something satisfying about being able to set one up, and it really helped me understand how clearos and cartos work. I really only use 3 now, two Kayfun style RBAs and one RDA. The rest are gathering dust in the "collection." :D

Yaaa RBA/RDA's sure can test ones patience. I have set up kayfun style devices, work great at home.. few days latter they want to flood out and act up. Even testing out a 3D dripper this week, fun but a pain to set up. Not sure i would venture into the world with the 3D. I have a few kayfun's i now carry out side that are pocket friendly. I also destroy nice stuff, yesterday morning i broke a kayfun 3.1 510 pin. Have yet to source a replacement part. I still use a Genny every day at home. Kaleb, secret number one, do not give up. I hope every one has a great Sunday.
