Had some small storms moving to the NE that were west of me... most of the lightning was within the clouds, but still got a few CG's showing
... the focus wasn't very good but I either had close by lights or stars to use for focusing... nothing distant enough for a good reference focus.The lightning was about 15-20 miles away by my best judgment, the lights in front were only an 1/8 of a mile at the furthest.

I hear ya.... it was a rather weak couple of lightning shots wasn't it...
