I've sort of screwed up my sleep schedule lately it seems... With only about 5 hrs of sleep last night, I found myself going for a nap at about 9:30pm on Saturday evening... and waking up again at midnight thirty... oh well.
So I got to make lemonade tonight out of some lemons... Looking
through one of the local FB picture groups, I found a location in Oklahoma called Gloss Mountain which has a few smaller versions of the types of cliff mountains you'd see in New Mexico, Arizona and Utah areas... It's only a couple of hours away from me and looks like it's going to be a perfect place for shots that could use a little landscape as an added background... The area they take up is also small enough to be able to completely drive around them and place them on any direction I'd want them for a pic... So some good background for sunsets, Milky Way and other starry sky shots ( next season, missed this seasons best viewing already ), storm and lightning shots etc.
