That sounds really good and we picked up some apples today at the store!
Wonder if they can be microwaved?

Looks like I forgot to mention the sugar in the mix... but basically it is an easy one to do... and you can either bake it in the oven or the microwave... Standard recipe for an apple crisp you can find just about anywhere. I think the microwave cooking is about 5-10 minutes but it's been forever since I'd made some and have forgotten the exact steps etc.

I usually sliced up the apples... but I've also just cored it and cooked it that way which makes a nice twist but takes longer to cook. Adding allspice or clove ( it doesn't take much clove ) is a nice twist... another is to add some orange zest over the top of the apples.

OBG, those apples do look pretty happy! I've gotta see if they've got 'em at Wal-Mart now. They usually do this time of year, but I've only seen the three-packs when I've seen 'em there in past years.
