Back before we had Mya we had a Yellow Lab named Jax. I forgot about this pic and just came across it. He fitted in so well. God, I miss him...

I am trying. I think about ya'll often. I wish I had more time to visit though. Maybe in a few months. One set of inlaws will be here in 4 weeks so I am trying to get the house presentable. Also trying to get a routine, I am happier when I have one. Slowly but surely things will even out I hope.

So the guys showed up today to replace the broken sliding glass door, and promptly managed to break the replacement glass while carrying it from the truck to the patio,,,,,,, they'll be back tomorrow

Ollie, sounds like you're adjusting to life in the northwest pretty well so far. It still sucks that you N the girl got robbed though. Hopefully things will smooth out for y'all.

jmur, that Beatles album cover with Jax blending right in looks funny! Animals are definitely nice to have around the house, but it breaks your heart when you have to say goodbye to a pet. At least you have the memories of Jax, and Mya now.
