Just tap the photo you want, select save and it automatically goes to the photo library, a separate app that you can later retrieve anything from. Thank you Apple...

That wouldn't ever work well for me... just this year alone, I've taken almost 6000 pics and trying to sort through an album with all of my pics in it without any additional organization would be a nightmare.

Windows has a Sendto function that would work similarly and could send all of the items you want to your Pictures folder ( or other shortcut you'd like )... again in my case, that wouldn't allow any further organization that I'd need to be able to find something later.

You could always use sub-folders within the folder itself. Keeps all mine nicely organized. Back when I was shooting with a digital that worked well for me. YMMV.

That is how I do it now... but using a simple right click send alone won't automatically send them to the proper organized folder, some additional step or several steps would be needed.

Still my own situation is a little different than most. Since I take a lot of photos... I use a DATE_Desc format for each subfolder. The Lightroom program I recently got also allows other organizational methods such as tags etc that I can use to locate a subject within all of my pic folders... The downside is I've got folders going back to 2003 as well as others that I didn't organize before that point. It'll be a major chore to go back through them all and tag and/or rate each one.

At some point... no matter what OS you have... if you have enough pics or documents or whatever... that organization will require more and more complexity to keep things straight. A right click send function is good only for a few hundred items or so... for more items, some complexity will naturally be the only solution.

Got a nice thing (I think) I'm working on. Kinda a Dylan/Stones meld. An old Howling Wolf song. And the Stone's covered it too. Moon can prob figure what it may be. Although there ARE many. But Moonie's good at that:D.
Just half-way done. I'll bore you people yet!

Nite!

Good Morning Folks... :)

That being a relative statement since I had a few fraudulent CC transactions... The bank caught one of the 4 transactions and I've already reported the others... I can get my replacement CC today from the bank, so I don't have any "down time" so to speak... I also wanted to try to vote early if I could today, so I was likely to need to go that way anyway.

Ok... back from my errands...

CC stuff is taken care of and disputed, also already have my replacement card. Went by the election board to check on voting early... Holy :-x ... The line extended out the east side door of the building, went around the north side and back around the west side, back to where they came out of the building and then folded back around to the west side again.. I'm guessing the hour to hour and a half wait to vote has now doubled or tripled. I'm not looking forward to standing in line on Tuesday, but I'm also not going try voting early today either.

Sorry to hear about Your card, it's not a matter of IF it happens it's a matter of WHEN it happens, sad but true. Just glad it was caught in time and hopefully all will settle out with out a lot of hassle or loss.
and as you're standing in line to vote please remember
