Any you guys watch the first two episodes of Fox's new show The Mick? Kaitlin Olsen from Sunny In Philadelphia stars in it. Absolutely hysterical. Best new network show I've seen in ages. Usually a new pilot starts and you pretty much know what the rest will be like. This one surprises all the time. Plus the fact that Kaitlin ain't too hard on the eyes:D.

Did I mention I love this show??

I just went to that cablegone  you put your zip code in for available stations. It came up with 2 for me. ............2 freakin channels.......... one from the college in gainsville and the other a pbs station  I can see dem without spending money on their antenna :?:

That cablegone sounds like a scam to me in that they seem to suggest theirs is better than an antenna you can already get elsewhere... it's just an over the air antenna and nothing more. You can already do that by getting a good HD antenna and in low receptions area, get one with a built in amp.

I use a standard HD antenna ( with an amp ) for over the air stuff and internet services like Amazon, Hulu and Netflix for the paid content stuff. For standard TV shows ( over the air ), I usually use my Kodi TV app on my media computer since it allows me to get what I want to see when I want similar to using a DVR... So I schedule it to look for the standard TV shows and once they are available, I can watch them when I want instead of just when they air.

Thanks for the feedback on the cablegone thing. I hadn't checked it out myself, but I've already got a digital antenna so I can actually get most of the local channels with it. I can't stand seeing the infomercials for glorified digital antennas that make 'em sound like the greatest thing since sliced bread...

    Dooz...

You've got a Windows notebook if I recall... if so install Kodi available in the Windows store for free for Win8.1 and Win10 or for other versions of Windows, a standard program ... from Kodi | Open Source Home Theater Software ( they've got android and apple versions available also )

Then install the following add-ons to get you started... WABC, WCBS, WNBC, Youtube and if you like science stuff, Nasa. That will give you the basic stuff for over the air type shows etc and a couple of others. Then depending on your notebook... if it has an HDMI output or a VGA output... you can probably plug it directly into the TV ( or watch on your notebook if you prefer or don't have a TV with the proper inputs ).

There are a ton of other add-ons for other sources as well... but Hulu and Netflix haven't made add-ons for Kodi for whatever reason so you'd still need their standalone programs if you have accounts with them.

These all work over the internet... so you may want to wait until you get unlimited internet access since streaming a show can take up a lot of bandwidth
