I was probably still up then... It was after 1:30am when I posted ( which is about 2:30am your time ) the pic I got... Although, I couldn't take any pics after about 10:30-11:00pm... I took the shots I got at around 10pm planning to take better ones at 11ish or so... but it got really foggy by 11pm... so no more pics for the night.
I'm uncertain if I'll get any good shots tonight. It's suppose to be a lot clearer but currently the winds are 20-25mph with up to 35mph gusts... not exactly a good recipe for steady pics. I will likely try it since I want to try the same shot without the filter I use to get rid of the sodium street light pollution. I don't think the color was right on last nights shot and no amount of tweaking was helping. I'll see how that goes and everyone here will be the first to know if it works out ( if they aren't asleep or sumptin )
Well work was a bit of an up and down thing today...
To start it off... UPS came by early with the color printer I'd ordered from the Amazon Warehouse deal. Turns out it wasn't such a deal... They claimed the printer was good as new but the packaging was damaged. Well... when I opened it up, there was toner powder all in the printer as if someone had shipped the printer back to them with the toner still in it ( which is likely ). So first order of business, vacuum out all of the toner from the inside of the printer so I can do some test prints to see if everything thing works "good as new" (
) as they claimed. I'll add thumbnails if anyone is interested in seeing the mess and the printout ( lack of ) quality.
Obviously the printer when it was returned to them was defective and whomever was suppose to test it... didn't. I did a great job of cleaning out the printer and there was no streaking which is common after that type of issue. The print output was a completely different thing... There was banding of color all across it, looked nothing like the reviews I'd read about the printer everywhere.
Another down side, one of my clients had been waiting to see what the output quality of this printer actually was. Usually laser printers are only fair on photos, this one is suppose to be almost photo quality. Since I got a bum one, I won't know for a while. Anyway... my client still came by and at least looked at some other samples from other printers I'd gotten for him to look at. We also got to make fun of the printer I got.. so there was a little fun involved. Luckily, he wasn't ready to purchase right now anyway and he'll look at the new one I get in a couple of weeks after I get reimbursed for the one I shipped back today.
The only other up side thing... I had another client request a quote for a new computer. They will likely order it sometime next week ( they think on Monday, but things don't always go as planned ).

Yeah and you are only seeing part of it... the part that showed when I first opened the top side door. The lower side door was just as bad as well as each of the 4 toner drum/developers and a few other places. Now the inside of my vacuum looks like a multi-colored mess... thankfully, it's a bagless one

Well what can I say but wow wow WOW! This new phone is like a big screen plasma TV compared to my old one, love it so far!
