hey doozieThe wind is blowing here today, and I think our high is supposed to be like 60°, but I've got classic rock blasting out of my Bluetooth speaker thanks to Pandora. Did I mention that I'm loving this phone so far?

Checking in. Hope everybody is doing good. Ma came driving in during our blizzard weather. She stayed for about a week. As far as the house goes, I got a new retractable awning(Christmas gift from the inlaws) up over the hot tub.I cussed the in-laws and the girl as that was not a fun 3 day experience. I got some LED shop lights up. Just re-wired the old florescents to take LED. Now it is the brightest room in the house. The girl said she is gonna start reading her books in there. Oh and lots of wallpaper removal, still lots and lots to do. Starting to look at wall texture spray guns and all that fun stuff. I also had to rewire the furnace. Lots of laying in the floor soldering. Today was my sorta day off. I only did stuff for the girl directly and did not work on the house. I am doing okay. Just chugging along.

I hope so. The girl really wanted cover over the hot tub. So the girl got cover over the hot tub. She gets what she wants.

Well, I WAS trying to be nice...
Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that we got through the winds and rain, and all is fine. We had tornado watches hit central Florida, but nothing came close, except some winds and rain. Everything turned out well. I'm just outside Orlando on the western side, and the worst bands were more east. The weather guys never interrupted the AFC Championship game, so that was nice. Oh, and since I'm a huge Pats fan... OH YEA!!!
The baby is running a fever today though. He wasn't feeling that great yesterday, and probably had a slight fever. Today it hit 102.5. Have him on an Advil and Tylenol rotation, and that's kept the fever down mostly. Been holding him most of yesterday and today, or having him cuddle with Becky and me. When we get the fever down, his bright smile can still light up the room. When it is up though, he's just breaking our hearts with his tears. He's a tough little guy though.
Okay, off to bed. Baby was up a few times last night, so I need to try and get a few hours of sleep in case he's up again.
