Here is another... this time with the Earthglow showing...

I have a shot of the same, with less of an exposure so the star in it isn't trailing and the Moon doesn't have the extra glow along the bottom... but when I tried posting it with the first shot I posted, the Earthglow got removed by the forum dithering the pic.... so here's this one instead.

This is what I saw tonight with the brightest star almost 90 degrees above and a slightly dimmer star to the left. Very bright like Aggie said.

    That bright star... was actually the planet Venus... the dimmer reddish one was Mars...

    Tonight they will form a triangle with the Moon as the third point...

    This is from last night, I would have had to expose longer to have Mars also show up ( if it had been inframe )
