You may want to stay up for a little bit to see how the weather develops... Currently the storm cells are about 100 miles out from you and moving east at almost 50-60 mph. There are two tornado warning areas up by Perry, these should pass north of you but still indicate that the line of storms are strong. They do have a couple of likely tornadoes judging by the radar.

I'll keep an eye on it from time to time... it's an estimated hour and a half ( give or take ) out from you. Still strong and currently there appears to be a big waterspout out in the Gulf even... hopefully it'll weaken as it reaches the coast it's heading for.

Looks like the lightning has slacked off a little which usually indicates things are weakening. There is still some rotation in the storm to your west heading towards you. I think the main part will have passed by in about an hour, the eastern edge is just about where you are located...

Although it looks like you may get your wish... probably some lightning and rain but the circulation has weakened
