My pathetic update:
Snowed in! Spent all afternoon trying to clear the backyard for Mya, ended up with only a small path, with two separate, uh, "restrooms". But Man, was she glad for that, poor girl.
Never even got to the car or driveway. Fenced in the back some years ago with a page link fence and a 15' gate. Gate is frozen solid to the ground under about 5" of solid ice. And I mean solid! Temps today never got out of the mid-twenties, so no thawing. Tomorrow may reach 34, so I'm gonna try again.
I feel like the old Animal's song, you know: "we gotta get out of this place, if it's the last thing we ever do".
Might very well be the last thing...

As I mentioned, I did get the 'scope aligned a little better... but it's still not where I want it so...
I'll post this other shot I got ....
( the forum is really dithering this one up, this is the 7th attempt to get it to look like my original pic... the haze should be a smooth transition to black and not quite as bright closer in towards the Moon )
