Nice wheels there Ag's... :)

When you get time, read through the owner's manual. If it's like mine, a lot of the default settings can be customized... Like how long the lights stay on after you turn them off ( I have mine set to go off right away, hate it when they have a mind of their own )... There were a lot of little things on mine I could tweak more to my liking.

I've always felt that they were afraid of discouraging potential buyers. When you have a "call for price" they're getting you to talk to a sales associate who may be more likely to convince you to buy, than if you just saw the price.
I mean I regularly see Martins, Les Pauls, PRS, etc selling between $6,000 and $14 or $15,000 with price listed. But never a Ric...
OK i guess that makes sense, I understand each gtr has it's "sound" like the difference between a Telecaster & Les Paul and You can "personalize" aftermarket and such.
But isn't there something special about the sound of a ric. I mean kinda like there is no substitute type thing, but for real not just a marketing ploy.

Well anyhow tonight I'm gonna hear lots of Ric!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thamks you three. I will read the book. They also had a DVD in the glovebox package to watch for new users. I haven't watched it yets eitha
thumb_laugh.gif
It has bluetooth in it and a CD/Mp3 player, AM/FM radio, and also Sirius Radio. The guy went thru that part wiff me and we paired my phone up to the bluetooth so it'll work thru the car and I don't gotta touch nuthing while dribin to answer or make calls I just tell it what to do. As far as the other settings I will read and check em out. I don't like the lights staying on and crap like that either. Other models of this car have GPS built in, back up cameras, OnStar, Wifi, etc that work thru the radio screen but mine didn't have those options included. I not gonna subscribe to da Sirius. The radio works fine for me as a regular one and I don't listen to it enuff to warrant a subscription to Sirius. They do give you a 3 month free trial to it. I don't need lotsa gadgets to be happy so I not worried about havin a fully loaded vehicle. Gimme a comfy ride and I smile

I don't do Sirius radio either... but mine has a hard drive in it and I recorded all of my CD's to it ... so I don't even do the AM/FM stuff so no commercials.

GPS is nice... but get a mount for your smartphone and you can use the Google Maps if needed and not miss having a built in GPS. Get a phone charger/cable for it and set your phone to stay on when charging so the screen doesn't go out.

I usually drive with my windows down... so having my phone connected to the radio doesn't help much with the wind noise happening. Instead I just wear a bluetooth headset anytime I'm out and about.

i just roll my window up when the phone rings, i had a garmin but now it just keep rebooting itself every few minutes, i tried upgrades, resets, delete/reload maps i even pulled a Hillary and wiped it and reloaded everything tried everything i can think of still have that problem.
but truth is since i'm not working on the road now don't need it nearly as much so when i do i just use there phone.

a co-worker of mine had satellite radio it was good for when traveling long distances, but still My iPod has My ENTIRE music collection on it so i don't really need the radio for listening to music.

I don't think I'd like that bluetooth thing hanging in my ear the whole time so i never tried it
