Our family reunions from either side of the family, never fit into a "mini" category ..
There is almost always a 100+ and sometimes many more... I'm uncertain what our record turnouts are. I'm guessing this one was close to the 100 mark, I'll have to find out the count later. The food tables... 4 8' church tables full of main and side dishes and 2-3 more for the deserts. This one, we had at a local Elks Lodge so there was enough room.
My friends get togethers that we used to have ( now long ago )... were even larger. Understand though, most of my friends are musicians in bands... So when we got together, there would be 3-4 bands typically along with all of their friends and families as well. It was also a over-nighter type of thing since there were drinks etc. We held it in a friends pecan field which was on about 13 acres out in the country.
I believe this pic is from the second year we had the "Pecan Jam" ... by this time, we'd built a drum riser but didn't get the main stage built yet...
The band playing was named Past Tense ( they've long since broke up )... along another friend Daryl had joined them for a few songs. Daryl is my friend that I've posted the songs he'd made and I later mixed them down after he'd passed away...
Incidentally.... the other family reunion I go to from time to time... Also gets to enjoy a few musicians as well during it... Although they are more country than Rock...
Well I guess my little mod misadventure yesterday DID come with a consequence. Went to take my first vape this morning and my beloved Clouper GT is toast. Tried a few different things, but, nada. Have to grab another one. Been using that almost exclusively for a year or more now. Maybe look at a different dual batt one too.....
