I don't believe that shockwave flash formats are supported here... probably due to the number of security issues there is with it
It worked earlier when clicked and went to another tab. Reading your post, I clicked on my prior post and a message at the bottom of my browser stated that the format may be harmful to my computer and gave me a choice to keep or delete the format.

I deleted it of course although it worked... I have no idea why it didn't notify me earlier.

That was your browser telling you of a possibility of threat because of the type of file it is... not something it actually detected as a threat. The point is that just because something could be a threat, doesn't make it one. I certainly would encourage websites and people using Flash for their animations to move over to HTML5 ( or other currently safe format ) for their animations... But we also have to be realistic that not all Flash animations are threats also.

Personally, I usually don't run flash embedded video/animations UNLESS they are on known reputable websites that I trust. I know that the majority of them are perfectly fine and safe but since hackers have used them in the past unscrupulously, I do take precautions.

The sky's were just clear enough tonight ( despite the forecasts ) for me to get a glimpse of Uranus in my binoculars...

It's far too dim to see with the naked eye in an urban setting and is likely a challenge in a dark rural one as well. While I probably saw it using my 7x50mm binoculars, I wasn't certain until I used my 11x80mm. Having a tripod mount for the 11x80's also made it much easier.

The reason for the difficulty in seeing it, no matter the setting. The average naked eye can see down to a 6th magnitude star ( the lower the number, the brighter the star ). The star Vega is used as the standard for a 0 ( zero ) magnitude star, a 1st magnitude star is 2.51x dimmer and a 6th magnitude is 100x dimmer than Vega. Uranus is currently at 5.69 magnitude.

Seeing Uranus itself isn't that visually spectacular. It's that it's the 7th most distant planet from the Sun and between 1.7-1.8 billion miles away from Earth... and you can still manage to see it. :)
