Lots of early risers today! :laugh:

About that... I found out ( too late ) that I could have slept in until my regular time...

The exGF was suppose to get an appointment scheduled for two weeks after her hip replacement surgery... Only she'd forgot until asked at the ER on Friday ( the day the hip had popped out on her ) if she'd had her follow-up appt. yet... That afternoon, she called to schedule it and they said it was for today ( the 7th ) and she thought she heard it was at 7am... We thought that until she got a reminder text as I was driving her into town for the appointment saying it was for 10am... :shock:

Dang ( strawberry ) blondes.... :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Out with the old.. in with the new... :D

My old smartphone was looking like it was starting to get flakey... the screen started flickering while charging was my main concern. Add to that, the batteries after 2 years were starting to not hold their charge as long and on a busy day, I'd get down to 40% or less...

So while I could, I ordered a new Moto Z2 Play. It's about a 1/4" taller and almost 50% thinner than my old one ( which wasn't all that thick ) and it's made with a solid aluminum shell that doesn't flex at all. This one has 32Gb of storage space which should be fine for my needs since I don't store many pics ( I keep mine in the cloud ) or any music on my phones.

I'll have to give the camera a few test runs... if the clouds will clear off... oh.. and now I've got to gear up ... aka get a holster and new cables etc...

Thanks...

Just tested the camera with some of the worst conditions to test in, gray and overcast skies... Came out pretty good considering. The color is almost spot on, the lighting is just a little darker than it appears with the naked eye. I can easily have increased the exposure time in the camera app settings, but these are the default auto settings since I thought that would be the best way to test at first.

Speaking of the camera app itself ( the latest Moto Camera )... awesome set of controls. Should be good from the average to almost pro users since you can leave it in auto or adjust every aspect you could on a real camera if you wish...
