I'm really happy with the battery life I'm seeing on the new Moto Z2 Play... 
Yesterday after an almost full day of light use ( just under a dozen calls and a few games of solitaire ), around 3pm I still had 87% of the battery left, by bedtime it was down to around 75% and this morning at about 6am it was at 62%. My old one would be in the mid-80% range after 1-2 hours and approaching 50-60% at the end of the work day of similar use.
For the life of me, I can't recall what my old one was like when it was new... I just remember being pretty happy with it but I do remember it didn't live up to the hype that they stated of it having up to 48hrs of talk time. The new one is hyped to have up to 30hrs of talk time and while I didn't use it that much, I do think it would have lasted through the day today had I not started charging it up a 6am this morning.

I revisited the steak seasoning tonight... it's not right... period. Well, as far as the direction I was going, it's still ok, just not what I'm after yet.
I probably need to pick up some preseasoned pork ribeye's from the store again so I can taste what I'm shooting for again since it's been a while since I've had the actual flavor I'm after.
