Good afternoon y'all, I hope we're all having a great Saturday. :)
Doo have you hit any of the temp services ?lot's of jobs hire through them then keep you on after 90 days :2c:
Thanks for the tip OBG, I might have to look into the temp agencies around here.
Happy Saturday Everyone!!

Doom, I've been there, it gets better.
May not seem like it at the moment, but it will.
Thanks Krusty, I'm sure I'll find something I can do soon.
Hang in there Doo. One thing I've learned over the years is that things definitely run in cycles. You'll be back on top of it again, of that I'm sure.
Thanks jmur, I know it's just a matter of time until I'm in a good place in my life again.

Thanks to everyone on here for your encouraging words. I'll be back to where I want to be soon.

RD, how are you liking your new smartwatch so far?

The "smartband" or fitness watch ( since it's really not a full blown smartwatch like my Asus Zenwatch II )... is fair at best. There are two things that bug me about it... The way it recharges is terrible. It uses a clamp on charger that has two small pins that you have to get just right on the watch for it to charge. It's a terrible design that I suspect will fail at some point. They also have it setup where you can touch and hold the face of the watch to change which of the several watch faces you see... having choices is great but it also leads to them changing on their own just by touching your sleeve or something else. Another minor issue is the automatic sleep detection monitoring... I just got up from about a 2 hour nap and it didn't even register it... it should be something you can manually select since their automatic detection is questionable.

Things I do like.. it's lightweight and has the BP, O2 and heartrate features. I've also enjoyed the step counter and was surprised by the number of steps I typically take... I wouldn't have guessed that amount. I'd have assumed something in the 1000-3000 range and it seems I'm regularly in the 3000-6000 range.

Jmur... and really anyone else also.

Here is a podcast that I watch regularly... here is a link and it's called the Storm Front Freaks podcast.

They started with just an audio podcast and have switched to also recording it "raw" as a video using Google Hangouts. They have it every two weeks and have a guest on to discuss weather related topics. The discussion is light hearted, starting off with "what everyone is having to drink" during the podcast, to the weekly subject they've picked along with a game they've made up to have fun with. They typically don't get very technical about whatever the week's subject is... but their guests are very interesting since they are from the weather industry... everything from storm chasers, weather people you've likely seen on TV as well as NOAA and NWS employees including the hurricane hunters. Most of their shows are about an hour and a half long.

Here is a link to their youtube videos that they've recorded Storm Front Freaks
