Had 3 deer in my backyard tonight. Not happy to see that as we're on a real busy State road. Hard taking Mya out cuz I didn't want to spook the deer. Tried strobing 'em with the flashlight (no raccoons AG!) but they didn't care. Think it was a young one with two adults and she didn't know how to get back over the fence and all the brush back there. The others came to the other side as if to show her (him?) where to go. Guess he/she finally got out and I succeeded in taking Mya out.

Isn't my life fascinating?

Not sure about J's story... but...

Mine is much the same as the night before... skies were clear but had a low hangin' haze ( not heavy enough to call a fog ) that would have messed up any attempt at an orion nebula shot... again. The only upside, I didn't have to stand out in the freezing temps to take 30-60 pics that I could have stacked together and processed for the next hour or so to get rid of the noise of shooting pics at a high ISO setting ( ie sensitive to light but really grainy ).

The forecast for the next few days ( until Sunday-ish ) is mostly cloudy... so unless something changes.. it's not looking like any chances the rest of this week into next.

Good morning y'all, I hope we're all having a great Tuesday so far.

I've got bad news and good news to tell y'all. Bad news is that I got into an accident with my car yesterday evening. I'd say it would be classified as a fender bender. I rear-ended someone stopped at a light while I was headed for Dunkin' Donuts for a couple donuts and an iced coffee. My airbag went off on the driver's side, but I wasn't injured in the accident. The front of my car is buggered up, I don't think it's totaled though. I wasn't hurt in the accident.

The good news is that I'm gonna get to go back home to New Mexico soon. I'm happy about that. I'm sure I'll keep in touch with y'all.
