I got pretty sunburned on my eyelids and cheeks Sunday before last after running the string trimmer for about 3 hours at the ex-GF's ( she's still not walking great after having the second hip replaced )... In fact, it was bad enough that my lower eyelids were swollen up. At first, I'd thought it was the poison sumac that I'd gotten into ( which I did get a few blisters from as well ) that was to blame but about Tues/Weds I noticed my cheeks were really read and the eyelids were starting to peel a bit.

So on Saturday, I ordered a hat that covers better than the ball cap I'd been wearing.... with it's 4" brim, I shouldn't have to worry as much for my face and neck at least. On the other hand, I will have to pay more attention to the branches in the trees and bushes. :D

I made my mexican nacho cheese casserole that I've posted about before... but I made it in a 9x9 instead of the typical 9x13... so I now also have some combination burrito filling as well. :)
