What happens is, you'll have a carto that will protrude by a few 100ths of a CM extra than your regular cartomizers. That tiny bit of extra length is enough to push down the center post causing your other cartomizers to not work. So, if you nudge it, ever so slightly up, it will work again.

Funny that happens on any of my GoGo batts when I use the 510 adapter. Always having to nudge the post back up.

Ack! Eric, I sent you an email, but I'm going to post here as well.

I just placed an order for some stainless cartos before I realized they were prefilled. As you probably remember, I don't like the prefilled. :D

I hope you can cancel that order for me before you get it packed up. Or... if you happen to have any unfilled stainless cartos you could replace with those and go ahead and send the order.

I emailed you, they are empty :)
the website wasn't updated :(

I'm going to try to take one of my old GoGo batteries and make a USB pass through. It should be fairly easy (in theory). I'll let everyone know how it goes... or if I burn my house down.

it is... but takes some patience. it really only needs the black and red from the USB cable, remove the battery (important), drill a small hole for the cable, thread it through, solder the red to red and black to black from where it was on the battery and is now loose NOT on the circuit board. tape or use the liquid electrical tape stuff on the solder points and on the drilled hole, put it back together, let it all dry... works like a champ. I made one way back and posted a pic in this thread somewhere ...

One of my GoGo batteries is acting weird. When you push down on the button the led lights up but no power is transferred to the carto. If I tap it or play with it a little sometimes it works. It seems to me that it is maybe a loose wire or maybe a bad solder joint on the circuit board. Anyone else have this issue? Were you able to fix it? I bought the battery in Aug. and I rotate 2 so it's not an end of life issue. Unfortunately, I only own 2 batteries and no backup system so I will have to wait 3-4 hours while my other battery charges before I can vape again. I guess I'm going to be shopping at Eric's place today.

As others have said, it is most likely your connector on top, the center post. An eyeglass flat head screwdriver works perfect for this. I do it all the time and it's second nature, just prop one side up a tad. (not too much)

The vaping Gods have not been smiling on me lately. I have a couple of Chopper's tanks and less than a week ago I put a brand new carto into the tank, filled it and was happily vaping for 2-3 days. I was going away to upstate NY for a couple of days so I filled it with juice and it was fine the first day but the next morning it was tasting very bad. 4-5 days on a new carto, I was using BWBs Applewood. I was getting weeks out of a carto before I needed to clean and rebuild it so I don't understand why this is happening?

Urge

Not sure but it could have burned a bit? I like to draw in when I fill them before I fire it, it pulls in liquid to avoid this.
I have a SuperTanker (15ml tank) that I made and I can't get two full fills out of it without it tasting funny... at least not yet. But 30ml is like filling a standard go-go cart about 12-15 times.

Hey Eric,
I couldn't help myself and ordered 10 of the gogo dual coil clear cartos from you on sat evening late. So I read in a previous post of yours that you discounted them for cyber monday. How do I get the discount?

I will send you two free on the next order (or equivalent stuff) , just remind me :)

Got my order today!

I love the GGDCC's Eric, great call getting these done! I kinda wish I had known about the sale, but that's ok, I bought 5 more today so I could take advantage of the sale, and I'm glad I did now that I know how great these are! I especially like the mouthpieces included - about time! :)

Oh and got that Cyclone carto too! :D

Thanks again for all you do for our little community!

I know about this, I have tried it and no joy. I think that I have a bad connection inside or a bad solder joint on the circuit board. I just haven't had time to take it apart yet. I was hoping someone else had the same issue and had already fixed it.

It worked well for 4-5 days so I don't think that is it. Previous to this the only problem I had was the coil getting gunked up after a couple of weeks or so.

Eric, I bought this from another vendor (heresy, I know) when I first started vaping and before I knew about you. In any case, it is my fault cause I dropped my GoGos multiple times. I am ordering a new one from you today.

Urge

well if it's broke.. send it to me anyway, if I can fix it, I will send it back, I'll pop it open and see what's up, if it's easy, no problem. Better than throwing it out. The most you're out will be the few bucks for shipping and I'll include it, if fixable, in your next order.

I also have noticed this same issue. I have two tanks that I put together last weekend with different juices in each. I vaped about 2ml out of the second filling on each of them and now they both are tasting burnt. One went out last night, the other tonight. I was getting 3 or 4 weeks out of these cartomizers in the tank. Now it seems about 1 tank full. Anyone notice a difference in the cartomizers longevity when not used in tanks?

I think I'll have to come up with a method to allow cleaning these things.. I'll work on it as soon as this crazy sale is over :)

You know it could be a "bad" batch of cartos, who knows... it'd be interesting to know if anyone ordering the stainless recently has similar issues not in a tank. I have used the same in my tanks as I send out but I've been lucky.

Actually I don't use the Stainless in my tanks. I use the standard Black ones. I sand off the paint, clean with alcohol, punch and install. Maybe it is a bad batch but I really don't care. At the prices you are selling them, I can't complain. If I can get 10ml out of one I am happy. I was just curious about them not lasting as long.

OK, so I tested both of my GoGo batteries with a multimeter. The good battery read over 3.7 volts. The battery that isn't working reads zero volts. It is still showing 2 bars on the led. This would seem to rule out that the center post is too low. Both the button and the led light up but no vapor at all. Any thoughts, anybody?

sounds like the positive lead from the circuit board to the center post is disconnected.
That would explain why the lights are working and no power readings.

So, the positive lead is soldered to the center post, to fix it you would have to remove the circuit board, the button and the center post and then solder it. I can see the center post being a real pain to put back in. Has anyone done this? I'm sure someone has, there's probably a youtube thing out there. Maybe if I added a little length to the positive lead I could put it all back together with wire sticking out of the top of the battery and then solder the positive wire to the center post. It would make putting the center post back in much easier. I'm not sure if I'm making sense or babbling so I think I'm going to sleep.

Try not to remove the center post :)
if you are not familiar with this kind of thing, I suggest you just send it to me, at least if I fail I can just replace it :)

But yes, you are on the right track, elongating the wire is usually what I do.

Holy Moly I haven't worked this hard since I used to do 70 hours a week in retail.
I am getting OLD :)

I got out of retail 16 years ago; it almost made me hate Christmas!! Being a church music director is WAY better!:D

BTW, love the new holiday header on the website.
