Notice to all.. the Go-go forum is down due to a server issue. A support ticket has been turned in so just waiting for them to fix the problem. Don't know how long it will take for repairs.

well that sucks... someone probably tried to hack it. Whenever I put a server online hack attempts are almost instantaneous.

On a positive note, these things last forever, I've only actually gone through two that started getting the burnt taste. The other three I broke by putting them in my pocket with the battery still attached. You forget about them, bend over to pick something up and *snap*: broken carto and juice all over in your pocket. So PROTIP: Don't stick these in your pocket with the battery still attached, they will break if you're not careful.
Product idea for Eric: a cone that fits over the GGDCCC's to keep them from breaking when you put them in your product.
Also, I tried to make a passthrough with an old USB cord and wire glue instead of soldering, didn't work. Probably would work with soldering, but I don't have a solder kit, so I just bought one of your passthroughs instead. It's actually cheaper than buying a kit and modifying an old GoGo battery.

The main grocery I shop at day to day has an older Chinese lady that works the Chinese food counter. I will be walking through the store just picking up Goldfish and nuggets for my girls and she will come over the intercom with:

I get scared and many times actually go buy something just so she doesn't hunt me down and beat me up before I leave.
Both of the GDCCs I have had to throw away were broken in the pocket as well. The other two I have both are hitting like champs.

Machined the small side of the cone w/dremel to make the GGDCC fit.

How about if I send you a bunch of standard cones with a return postage package and you do them and I will sell them for the same exact cost they are now?
This way the post office isn't getting any extra money with the back and forth?
Plus I can offer anyone a swap, an unscratched cone can be swapped for a GGDCC modified one.
No need to pay any extra shipping either, I can include it on any order with a promise of returning an unmodified one if they have it. It'll be faster and cost no extra shipping...
