Welcome back Nate! I knew I hadn't seen you around but I figured you were so happy vaping your provari you weren't visiting the Nation.:laugh:

Oh No Brother, I was out in Florida doing training, when I got back the little Lady decided she wanted a tank for her mini lava tube so of course my first place to look was here :D And WhaddyaKnow???? Bang tanks for Months, tanks a plenty and loads of what I have been bugging people about for Months! Single COils cartos precut to fit the Dual Coil Tanks, that is a match made in Heaven for any Lava Tube User, although you can clip the top coil of an LR Dual Coil and make it a single coil I am very happy that we have the singles premade that way because Lava Tubes do not like Dual Coils at all LOL

Hope the Jaw Surgery goes smoothly my Eric, that does not sound like a pleasant thing at all, not even a little bit. I just hope it goes through quickly and heals fast my Friend;

There isn't anything more painful than an abcessed tooth that I've experienced in 72 years. I once pulled one with a pair of pliers because I couldn't get to a dentist and I still remember the relief that came when it came out. lol The only thing that came close to that pain was broken ribs. I once got my right index finger deboned in a wood chipper and that didn't hurt near as much.
:2cool:

I know right, I haven't cried since I was 9, but this almost... almost made me.

I have been:
Stabbed, shot (with a high power BB gun), in a debilitating motorcycle accident, had two knee surgeries, one stomach surgery, a shattered ankle (football), shattered eye socket (hockey) NOTHING and I mean NOTHING came close to the delirium of pain I was having.

The 45 minutes for the vicodin to kick in was literally the longest 45 minutes of my life each time it wore off. The only person on the planet I would have wished this on was maybe the late Osama Bin Laden., but even that would be cruel and unusual torture. I think I was working extra hard just to shift my focus away from the pain.

It's 2012 people.. over the counter Ambesol is just not enough! :laugh:

Can I ask, what single coils do you use in the DCTs? I've been using 1.7ohm Resurrector single coils by smoktech, but DV doesn't carry them. Was wondering what in the DV linup is similar, since sounds like we're both single coil in dct lovers. Thank you!

Holy moly... you've been physically through the ringer! And no... ambesol is laughable for the kind of deep nerve bone pain you get with an abcess. I'm surprised vicodin helped as much as it did. Guessing its cause you don't take a lot of hardcore pain killers, so you got the full benefit, thank goodness. Good luck with surgery!

Not sure what website you've been looking at but DiscountVapers for sure carries the smoktech 1.7 single coils :)

Tank Replacement single Coil Cartomizer, 1.7 ohms - DiscountVapers.com

Unless of course the "Resurrector" is something special that they are reserving for special customers but since it's the only one they sell, I'd gather a guess it's the same one :)

Actually the ones I got are these: Tank Replacement single Coil Cartomizer, 3.0 ohms

I get the higher resistance because I like a higher voltage vape, and the dual coils I have been using on my Provari are the 2.5 Ohm Dual Coils because even though everyone tried, (AND FAILED MISERABLY I MIGHT ADD), to bash the Provari by saying it could not handle or push the dual coil cartomizers, it can and does in fact push the majority of them better than anything else I have. The only ones that actually showed any kind of performance degradation are the 1.5 Ohm Dual Coils, those gave the V1 Provari a problem, but the 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 Ohm Dual Coils all work perfectly in the Provari in a DCT.

So I figure getting a High Ohm Single Coil it will most likely give me a Superb Vape in both my Wifes DCT on her Lava Tube and my SS GGTS that I put the Kick into which is currently running 3.5 Ohm 801 Fusion Cartos. This way I can have a snazy Tank on my SS GGTS as well as my Provari, which I use my Original First Run Stainless Steel Map DCT on which I have had since he first started making them back in July/August time Frame :D

WOW, Brother, that is Awful my Friend. Sounds like you have lived my Life Bro. LOL I too have been stabbed, shot,(With a 9mm and a .22 Long Rifle), and hit by a Ford F150 on my Skateboard, and ran into a Toyota Truck on my 10 speed doing about 45MPH downhill and tucked in. That crap sucks, but ya feel like Super Man flying through the air weightless when ya hit a truck doing nearly 50 MPH, at least until you land on the gravel and roll across it like a cheese grater :D

I really hope you get to feeling better soon my Friend;

Yep they are all the same. Just different suppliers call them by their own name like everything else. It just seems like the first one that gets a certain item their name sticks. Lavatube, Stardust, ressurrector are all examples of that.

Yeah, I just figured that out with Nate's message! lol I'd seen those, but didn't realize they were smoktech brand till just now when I clicked on his 3 ohm link. The 1.7ohm thing should have tipped me off. I was looking for packs, not singles, though, so I barely registered that. That is very cool! I've literally never seen those sold without the 'resurrector' tag, so I didn't look beyond the title at first glance. Matter of fact, I've been vaping with those pretty exclusively for about 6-8 mos now, and I JUST realized the resurrectors were smoktech brand a few mos ago, cause the other vendor never had that info in listing. lol I've been oblivious.

Any chance you'll start carrying those without the flange/unpunched (ie regular old cartos) in bulk? I'm not so worried about buying the individuals to go in tanks, cause I only need maybe 3 of those in a month... but the regular cartos 1.7ohm single coils i use a ton of, so I like to buy those in larger quantities, usually 15-20 at a time. I used to use boge 2.0LR almost exclusively, but the larger size on the resurrectors got me. Plus, they vape almost just like a boge, but have that tiniest bit more throat hit because its 1.7 as opposed to 2ohm. Aside from juice, those cartos are my 'can't live withouts' for vaping. Plus, they're the best vape I've found on something like a Lava Tube or a Vision Tox, because of that 2.5 amp restriction. One of those at about 4.3ish v, and I'm thrilled. I'm not super keen on the most of the 'clearo' stuff... perhaps I should say the best 'filler carto' I've found for those restricted vv's. I'll cross my fingers those start being avail without punches/flange in a big ole' bundle. lol Plus, those are what I always recommend when I get a new vaper started (that's something I do a bunch of, and they almost always start with an ego kit, so the 1.7ohm is great), and I'd MUCH rather send new vapers to you, rather than the source where I have been getting them. Their customer care has been a let down for some of the newbies, and I always worry that one really bad vendor experience will send them back to the cigs when they're brand new. Plus the other vendor is pretty much 'cartos only'... they don't have the 'broad' selection of stuff you do. One stop shopping is something I like to give the new vapers, too, just to simplify. Anyway, I'll cross fingers that happens in the future, and watch newsletter.

And Nate, I didn't realize there was the equivalent of a resurrector in a higher ohm/larger size! I've been using the boge 3.0 for higher voltage vaping, but I'll definitely try those out next time! I've been thinking of trying the xl boge, but they're still rather pricey in comparison. Thanks for heads up! And yeah, anyone can say anything they like, but the proof is in the experience. You've found what works for you, and that's whats important. I'm drooling all over your setup, btw. lol I like the resurrectors on the Tox because I usually vape at about 4.3-4.5ish... but gotta have the 3ohms any higher than that. I could be wrong, but I think the v1 provaris had the same amp restriction as the lt/vision tox at 2.5amps. The new version is 3.5amps, so that gives you a TON more flexibility. I never minded the amp restriction much on tox/lava tube just cause I don't usually use dual coils, so its not so much an issue for me.

post it in the product request thread so I have something to look at when considering what to order :)

Now that I have all these threads to play with it's best to put them to use!!

In case Eric doesn't get back to me first, do one of you guys know if the XL3 VV mod Discount Vapers carries can handle dual coil cartomizers? I love 1.25ohm dual coil cartos, and since I just bought 50 of 'em, I want to know if the XL3 can handle them before I buy one.

And Eric,
Ever try Aleve? Not sure how it works for mouth pain, but I have a bad back, and it works better than ibuprofen for me.

If you want over the counter pain relief for tooth stuff, try Extra Strength Excedrin. I have a severe pain amplification disorder, and thats the only over the counter that will touch nerve pain in my experience... I take 3 at a time, 2 x a day. But don't take em for over a month... really bad for your liver. And really, you wanna take them for as short a time as possible. ;)

And Sandy... 50 dual coils? lol That's a HUGE order. I should probably buy my 1.7ohm single coils by the major bulk like that.
