I have used it in tanks and cartos, it will get a tad darker but black?... that is.. odd.
Is this a new clean CE4+? I guess it could be a reaction to their oils or whatever is left in the new carto?

Not sure, anyone else getting this?

I'll fill up a new one today and see what happens.

Not completely black, just blackish, it's dark that it is hard to see the metal tube inside the stardust. The smell, vape, and flavor is still the same so I'm not too worried. I'm just guessing it's a reaction to the heat that the CE4+ is giving.
And yes, it is a new CE4+ that I just got with my order.

My waffles does that, so it could be, so far no darkness on the tobacco test

And is there any chance, since you've got the amazing chargers, now, that you'll start carrying those super well reviewed Panasonic IMR 2200mah batts everyone is raving about? They're supposed to be much safer chemistry, and a rather expensive place is selling em for under $9, so they'd be a reasonably priced item that vastly extends charge time. I believe they're less expensive even than the AW IMRs. Batt time is supposed to kick the tail of the IMR ones I've been using, and all the techy guys in the lavatube threads are suggesting them for the LTs. Oh, and I did double check the dimensions. A lot of the 2000 mah IMRs are too long for the LT tube... cap screws on but there's a big gap. But these 2200 mah ones are supposed to fit with no issues. I've got a link for ya if you want to see em.

I just picked two of those Panasonic's up, and they are great. They are Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250Mah batteries. I would love to see Gormly carry those!

Hey Eric,

I am now having problems with my eLips 2. I tried charging it, and it won't charge. Not sure if it is the charger or the eLips battery connection since I do not have another compatible charger for it, but it just won't charge. Is this still under warranty? Can I send it back and get a replacement?

Of course.. if it doesn't work, by all means I'll replace it.

Address is here:

Okay, so I filled my regular ce2 clearomizer with the tobacco and been vaping it since last night and the color is not turning dark. I guess it was just in the CE4+, maybe it was the oil inside like you said?
Just to set the record straight for anyone else who might experience this, it's just that the color of the tobacco liquid darkens, and it doesn't affect the vape, smell, or taste. It'll probably go away after I clean them out.

Holy Shamoley... A few orders in, and I'm STILL amazed at the incredible service and sheer generosity of Eric when sending out our vape-goodies! lol I've dealt with a few stinkers, vendor-wise, but by and large most of the vendors I've dealt with have been honest and solid with customer care. And somehow, Eric still manages to blow everyone else out of the water! rofl Anyway, needless to say, I'm just thrilled with my new batch of goodies! Thank you SO much, Eric! ((hug!))

Ok, gushing is out of the way, and I have a few questions... this one is to Eric, or Lord Davon or anyone else who has a solid understanding of vaping electronics. So my new Xtar WP2 II charger.... It has a selector on the side, and you have to indicate what Gear or mA you want it to kick out. So there's 3 options...

0 gear - which is only for when you want to use it to charge a usb device
1 gear - this says .5A on the charger...Charging current 500mA in the directions
2 gear - this says 1A on the charger...Charging current 1000mA in the directions

Ok, so I want to charge 1 18500 (1100mah), and 1 18650 (1600mah). I'm wanting to verify I'm doing this properly. So my batts are different sizes, but same manufacturer (cheap red IMRs). From what I remember and can decipher from the directions (so much better than most Chinese directions! you can actually understand them... I'm just not very techie inclined), I THINK if I'm using 2 different sized batteries in the 2 channels, I want to have it set on 1 gear, .5 A/500 mA. I think if I'm charging two of the same batteries, I set it on 2 gear, 1A/1000mA setting. But I'm not 100% sure so figured I'd better check with you guys who have a better understanding than I do of these things. lol Now I'm second guessing and wondering if 2 batteries, regardless of whether they're same size or different, goes in the 2 gear mode.

*also, for anyone who travels or commutes a bunch, this xtar WP2 II charger comes with the standard wall plug setup, but it also comes with a CAR charging adapter. So if you use mods, and you travel... Perfect charger for you! I can't believe you can get a 'smart charger' that tests voltage to make sure it doesn't overcharge w lots of built in safety features that's good for imrs, charges anything under 70mm long, and also comes with a car charging setup, and ability to charge a usb device.. all for $19. That is a killer value.

Also, Eric, the 100% VG juice you made for me... I'm pretty darn confident its in an all VG base... looks and acts like VG viscosity wise, plus you mentioned having to shake it like crazy cause it was all VG. But your notes on bottom of the bottle says "24 PG". I'm thinking you just did that unintentionally, cause I switch those initials inadvertently all the time myself. But since PG makes me break out like a teenager I figure I'd better double check. lol Can't wait to try it, though! Its smells AWESOME, and perfectly Reese's!

And lastly... I've used DCTs before, but these are the first one I've gotten from Smoktech brand... They come with a clear o-ring separately in the package. What the heck am I supposed to do with that thing? lol I didn't think there was an o-ring in the setup, so now I'm wondering where it goes.

Whew... Ok, I'm off to play with my goodies, but I just had to thank Eric yet again for another fantastic order, and I'm already setting up my cart for the stuff I'll get next, once those Panasonic 18650s come in stock. LOVE that they're gonna be available at DV. And hoping someone has the answer for which gear to charge my batts in, cause I don't wanna run the risk of doing it wrong before i check.

Quick question regarding the Organic Tobacco juice I ordered.
The liquid is yellowish, which I guess is the natural color due to using real tobacco leaves, but when I put it in my stardust and vape, after a few hours the liquid inside the stardust becomes blackish. Is it because of the heat produced from the battery? or is it just because it's organic? I still vaped it, and the taste is still excellent, just that the liquid turns blackish.

Eric made me a 50/50 sweet organic tobacco. I run this liquid in a ce2. I use the same ce2 for 3-4 days and refill about twice a day. On day one the color is normal. On day 2 the color darkens some. On day 3 the color is getting really dark so I can't see the metal tube inside. The fluid starts to get a roasted almost marshmallow/tobacco taste to it. When this happens I refill when 1/2 full to help maintain the dark and the flavor. On day 4 I am sad because I know that flavor is about to disappear and I have to wait for 3 days until I get that taste back.

I think the fluid getting dark is from the build up on the coil leaching into the fluid. I think the heat contributes to it, but if it was just the heat alone the fluid would darken much faster. I hope that some day Eric with all of is abundant free time will find a way to darken the tobacco fluid in the bottle so I don't have to wait for three days.

Thanks, it's getting harder due to being extra busy but I guess that's a good thing. :)

I am not a battery or battery charger expert so I'll have to leave this in the hands of someone who knows best, hopefully someone can chime in, but from what I do know, you are only looking at the current going out to the battery and I always use 1 500Mah, just because I am paranoid about anything coming out of China regardless of how good it might be. I just don't like the idea of that much current going into my charger and for me, with a plethora of chargers and spare batteries time isn't an issue. If you were diligent about paying attention (or have a charging bag :)) it shouldn't matter.

That said, your 18650s should all be able to handle 2 but when mixing batteries I recommend 1 only.
But again, take that with a grain of salt because I am not expert :(

I do this a lot unfortunately, a bit of dyslexia I think.. like how I constantly add a semi colon instead of an apostrophe with a contraction. Plus I spend more time correcting my spelling errors than actually typing.

it should have been "VG"

I've wondered that myself...

Gotcha... I'm using the 1 setting... 500Ma... for everything other than charging 2 18650s. And glad to hear the juice is VG. I was pretty darn sure, so I started vaping it, and lemme tell ya...

Peanut Butter Cup ROCKS! lol I love it. I love it so much I put it in a DCT, which for me, is the highest level of flattery for a juice. You guys who haven't tried this DV juice yet... if you like peanutbutter and chocolate, you gotta try it. Its delicious, and definitely 'peanutbutter cupp-y', but not a bash you over the head with fake flavor deal, like some others I've tried. The liquid is translucent, and the taste is terrific, yet still sort of light. It could be an all day vape, easily, whereas most things with strong dessert flavors, I may only want to vape for a short stretch. VERY good.

Samurai671... I did about a year when all I vaped was organics. Its very natural for them to switch colors like that. Almost all of them morph in color if they're exposed to light for more than a few hours, like in a dct. When you add a heat source, the color change is even more obvious. Also, you may or may not know this... but if you're often vaping it over 4.5v or so, you may notice some flavor reduction. Lots of organic flavors kind of fizzle out with really high heat. Usually not much of an issue with juice in a carto. But on occasion, if you've got it in a tank, and its exposed to 5v for hours on end, it can be an issue. I only mention it because when it happened to me, I didn't know what the hell was going on. rofl I ended up spending a bunch on new cartos etc, and turns out it was just the natural experience of vaping organics at really high voltages. Didn't want you to get stuck blowing money for no reason. ;)

And sandybeach... I haven't forgotten about you, hon... I've felt mondo pucky the last few days, and haven't found those photos, yet. They're not on my current ehd, which means they're on an old one. I'll get em, but might take me another day or two. I just haven't been up to unpacking the box of old harddrives and hunting through em. But I do promise they're not overly exciting. lol I'm sure whatever you come up with will be better. Mine were all sorta experiments for gifts, so I'd certainly use a different varnish over the skins, now. ;)

And cracking up that noone knows what the clear o-ring is for on the smoktech tanks! lol I'm gonna use it to hold tank in place. Right now, cartos I'm using (punched and plated 1.7ohm smok resurrector single coils) are 'taller' than the tank, so its migrating up and down the carto a bit. Hoping if I use the oring on top, it'll hold the tank in place since the flanged plate on the bottom hold it in place down there. Funny.. I'd used the discount generic dcts with the stainless caps and the colored poly, and those are exactly the height of the tall cartos. They look way cheaper than the smoks, though, and not nearly as nice. ;)

Oh, and very important re: the Xtar WP2 chargers. I talked to a friend of mine, and he said most important thing is NEVER to put the charger on 1000mA mode when you're charging batteries that are under 1000mah. If you're only charging 14500 IMRs that are 600 mah, and you set the charger to deliver 1000mA, BAD things could happen. You should never charge batts in mah over what they're designed to deliver. ;) Just thought I'd mention that in case any of you guys are as clueless about electronics as I am. Thank goodness for my techie vape buddy. And he also verified exactly what Eric said... when in doubt, use the lower setting... 500mA.

Your right, it does kind of taste better when it is a little darker. Don't know how to explain it but it's somewhat milder, not to the extent of being light, but milder. I don't taste roasted marshmallows, as always taste is subjective, but the taste does seem to get better for me. And yeah, I think it is also from the coil build up and heat.

I also noticed the liquid in my CE2 is getting slightly darker, but it takes a while for it and like you said, I'm at day 2, compared to a few hours with the CE4+.
Hey Eric, how is the tobacco test your running, is it getting darker?

I also have discounted ($2.99) CE4 V1's (2.5-2.9oHms) in colors in the bargain bin, they are discounted because the manufacturer did not clean them properly and there is residue in the bottom threading, this is easily wiped off but I thought I'd pass my discount to you.

Maybe the taste kind of changed for me cause I'm a chain vaper? Anyways, like I posted a few days ago, the only thing that changed was the color, the vape, smell and taste (slight change in taste for me) is still the same.

Oh, by the way, some of my analog smoker and e-cig vaper friends tried the tobacco and they said they have never tasted something so close to a real cigarette and I agree. Greatest tobacco flavor ever!!

I had Eric add VG and some sweet to the tobacco I was describing. With the regular tobacco I never got the roasted marshmallow flavor. When the regular got darker on day 3 I would describe it as roasted, more blended and smoother.
