I am out of stock on that one right now so I can't test it but generally in my experience blinking means it's close to being charged.

Not 100% sure though.

No, it did that as soon as i put the Twist on the charger, right after the battery blinked to let me know it was dead.

I read on another thread that it is checking the voltage and does that every 5 seconds or so, until the battery is charged. I swore it was staying constant red before, but I can't say for sure. Just trying to make sure the charger and/or battery is ok.

LD, if you're around, can you chime in please?

bigpman,

The green blink is normal operation. As you were told, it is when the charger checks the current battery voltage.

On SOME chargers, the green will hold for an increasing period of time as the battery nears full charge, and then remain on when fully charged.

My UltraFie charger for the 18650 batteries does the same thing.

Everything is copasetic.

Thanks RodeoGeorge, appreciate you confirming my findings:)

I figured all was well, but always better to be safe than sorry...

Rodeo is correct. The blink is normal.

Sorry for the delay in response, I was at Vapestock. :)

Don't you ever sleep?

Just ordered a V8 @ 11:45 Sunday nite and within 5 minutes received the wepay invoice.

Great service, thank you.

so it was you! Off to bed I was, came in to turn out the light and there it was, another order...

:)

Now since I am sitting here I have 15 emails to sort through including some poorly written Chinese vendors begging me to order their junk products LOL

Eric,

There are several chargers out there that use different schemes for the charge state.

The UltraFire that I have (WF-139) uses only the Red and Green. Red = Charging, Short Green Blinks when checking status, and solid Green when charged.

The Soshine (SC-S2) uses only Red and Green, but when the Battery is close to a full charge (I think at 90%) the LED changes from Red to a Blinking Green. Then at full charge a solid Green.

The Joyetech eGo USB Charger (420mA model) follows the same indication pattern as the UltraFire.

The YL-103 Single 18650 wall chargers follow the same indication pattern as the UltraFire.

I have another model charger, but it's in the truck and I'm going to be lazy and not go out to the Ag Building to check that model.

If there are any doubts, the best thing to do is RTFD. If the charger did not come with directions, you can usually find them by Googling the Model Number, or going to the Vendor Site where you obtained the charger.

I ordered right around the same time and got the "Your DV order has been shipped" at 12:32. lol
And here I was coming here to complain that I just can't stop buying from you!! It's a good thing I don't spend a whole lot of time on the forum b/c everytime I do, I buy s/thing or chain vape. :p
Man I can't WAIT to get that Ovale 8! By the sound (and price) of it, I wish I would've come across that before buying my barely used LT. I'm going to decorate it like crazy, too. :D
Thx so much, Eric.

So....Lord Davon......how was Vapestock????? See anything new???

It was great. I didn't realize how many people would recognize me. I pictured maybe one or two, but... it was like WOW!

As for new stuff, not really all that much. Everyone talked about stuff coming, but there wasn't that much new stuff there.
