Eric do the Panasonic CGR 18650 batteries you sell fit in the Gripper?

I will have to report on this tomorrow, I cannot see, no power just generator and it's not in an easy place to go looking.
I would guess no because it's longer than a standard 18650 and I remember the AW just fitting. But I will confirm when I can.

(I do not have a transfer switched hooked up yet, electrician want's a thousand bucks...)

I have CGR18650CH batteries, and they fit fine. Great batteries too. So, if Eric sells the same ones, then yes.

He lists them as being protected and it says they are longer than the Pannys from Orbtronics and they are a tight fit in the Gripper so they are probably too long for the Gripper.

I just checked, and the only difference between Eric's and the ones I have, are that his are button top. I will bet that they will fit fine. Eric can verify in the morning. And yes, Panasonic claims to have a protection circuit in the CGR18650CH batteries.

sorry to say that my panasonic will not fit the gripper, it is a hair too long. Though this carries the same model number it's a bit different. Not entirely sure what is up I bought the model number requested by customers. I figured it would fit but it does not... just by a hair :(

Wow. I lost that bet. Is the button top really that big?

Oh, I checked. It's 3.5mm longer than mine. That's really strange. The numbers on your battery picture match to mine.

My CGR18650CH fits perfect in my Gripper VV. However the battery does not say Panasonic on it. Maybe the little number is different on Eric's, Li-ion MH12210. The site I ordered them from said they were Panasonic. All I did was a search for them and these guys came up. I got A LOT of batteries from them and not a problem with any of them. Of course I know more about the Martian landscape now than I do about batteries.
ps: they are button top but the button is a bit recessed.
