uh oh..chopper stopped working....any troubleshooting tips? and NO its not the battery. i tried it on my brand new battery and another working fully charged one. it just stopped working after i refilled the tank when it went dry.

When this happens to me, its usually because I got liquid in the center post and it's flooded.
Try either cleaning it or turning it upside down for 30 minutes on a paper towel, also what caillel said.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here, a little late, as I've been sleeping all day (damn meds) ... As much as you do for us already, I would not ask you to give out free samples. I would happily pay for a sample pack, its not unreasonable to charge the cost of making one. Every other vendor makes a profit off their samples, and some are crazy high prices for samples .. like $30 for 5 - 3ml bottles. Considering making juice is time consuming, and not really something you wanted to do, having us cover the basic cost of making samples shouldn't be asking too much. When you are making a profit, then you can give away freebies.

And your kids are adorable!

Wow, I was thinking absolute max of $15 or $20 for 10 3ml bottles. Mostly just for the time it is going to take.
I put so much effort into the liquids to make sure they are right, I can just imagine what it's going to take for samples. I'll have to devise a system :)

And your kids are adorable!

It's all Jamie, she's the looker :)

Oh, and I have something special coming for you next week Cleo, not what I was talking about before (isn't working out properly) but you'll like it :) This one's a guaranty.

I like the idea of sample packs. However, I see that as being a lot of time and work. If you're looking to keep busy, then okay. I'm willing to pay $4.99 to try a flavor and if I like it, I have the rest of the bottle to enjoy. (If the first 2 flavors I've tried are any indication, I don't think I'll have much disappointment.) My taste buds keep changing and when I revisit some flavors, I find I like them the second time around. One can also PIF or trade?

There are other options. You might consider promos like: spend xx $$, get an xx ml of juice for xx amount. Then you'd be selling product and covering your cost for the sample. Just my :2c:

I didn't look hard, but I just found tiny 3 ml plastic bottles for 50 cents each - OUTRAGEOUS - I had no idea someone could sell something like that for so much. Silly me - I thought I would find them for 5 - 10 cents each.

Most vendors say their samples are premade not made to order like their larger bottles. So you could make it up a little ahead of time, like when you're making that flavor for a customer, and the short time it's sitting it will be getting better much of the time. It won't hurt anything and I never understood why more vendors don't keep a small, fresh inventory of their most bought flavors. Most take a few days for the flavors to meld together anyway. Much more than that doesn't do much of anything for several months. Doing DIY for the last 18 months this has been my experience.

I just PM'ed you :)

1000 count of anything is a risk ;) I'd have to get a large amount because I get queasy when I am out of stock of something someone wants.

Thanks for the idea, it's a good one but I think I'd rather sell a pack, rather than one at a time like that. I'd rather make 5-10 packs at a time rather than 1 sample per flavor on order. That's a lot of individual work time :p
Plus it would "force" some people to try something they might not know they'd eventually fall in love with. LOL

I get a lot of ideas from you all here, so please anytime you have any suggestion post it.

I'd definitely buy a sample pack if you can make one in a low mg (like 6mg) Seems most vendors only offer their samples in medium-high mg and this chain vaper just can't handle that-yuck!

Bring on the low mg samples :D
