Ohhhh Crss :( I think that Firechicks got it nail on the head here with this advice it sounds to me. I hopes you have all the luck in the werld with them. Iffin it took 6 months to happen you know they already love each other and the little guy didn't realize he hurt the big guy
Crss, It could be a "who's the boss" argument, or maybe the little one was hurting the older one. Our pup jumps on the old dog in play, but it causes her old, arthritic body some pain and she lets the pup have it. I would start with going back over basic obedience with the pup. Stoping ANY form of wrestling is important at our house so the old girl doesnt get hurt and nail the young one.

Good afternoon DV :)
Stone face filled the tank yesterday around 5:00 pm and on leaks so far. I filled it with the cherry bubble gum to see if it is going to leak that stuff well kill a tank and in 6 hours i will find out about the taste.
Sounds great madmach, thanks for the update. It's always good to know that some of these tips we read about actually work :thumb:

It's good to hear that everyone is safe and sound. Now, if we can only get the canines to play nicely...

Ahhh crss, the joys of a multiple doggy household. We have 2 as well (and 3 cats--yikes). Leo Vince is a 2 year old Beagle/Border Collie mix, and Munnky, who just turned one in March is a Mini Doberman Pinscher/Chihuaua mix. Leo is amazingly strong, high strung and 5 times bigger and heavier than Munnky, but Munnky is the boss.

They get into it on a daily basis over rawhide chew bones, toys, or even who gets the best spot on the back of the couch to monitor the outside activities. Munnky will jump up in the air and snarl, bark and snap at his muzzle, it sounds like they're killing each other, but neither of them ever hurts the other, it's more bark than bite.

When they're not arguing over a toy, they are chasing each other around the house and yard, snuggling together, eating dinner together~~they are the best of friends. With your two beagles, it may have simply been a case of the older dog teaching the younger dog a lesson about something.

I feel for ya Kaleb, Leo is dog aggressive as well. He wasn't always, I don't know what's changed in him, but we can't take him to the dog park anymore, because he went after other dogs the last 2 times we went. I suspect that they were un-neutered males, and that there was some sort of dominance issue at stake.

If I ever get enough patience to upload a video to youtube, I will show ya'all what a fabulous Frisbee catcher Leo is, he absolutely LIVES for the Frisbee.
