Cool! I thought she said she was going away for the weekend! Hope she's having a great time!

Well, finally I'm getting to the point where it's actually moving forward, I spent an unbelievable amount of time yesterday washing the walls and ceiling getting ready for primer. I suppose I could have just slapped the primer on over the top of everything, but being that this is the first time we've painted in there since buying it, and there were previous occupants for 25 years before that, I felt the need to scrubbamatize and sterilize from top to bottom, lol I want it to feel brand new!! Will be putting primer on the walls today, and hopefully at least one coat of paint before the day is over, I realllllllllllllly want to get to the part where I revamp the vanity, that's going to be the fun part for me!! (If it turns out the way I want, I'll post before and after pics, cuz in my mind it is the coolest thing ever.)

Can't wait to see the pictures, Zooker! I have always loved seeing different ideas people have had for their various rooms! My parents would have home improvement books that I'd browse as a kid! Strange, I know! LOL!

Playing with my laptop, still. I'm going to have to get a new fan, I think. I should be looking into if it's something I can do myself and for the part(s).

Kaleb, I hope you can fix that eVic! What a pain. I hope it's easy enough...? Like was mentioned, the display-less control heads are around $25 or so, and the regular ones are around $50, I think. I wish you success either way!

Now, you don't know how long those Coke bottles have been accumulating, or whether one is forgotten when the next is opened. Clearly reminds me of my son's housekeeping skills, but he chose Mountain Dew. More concerned about the caffeine intake.

I don't blame you for scrubbing, I would be doing the same thing for sure. The prep work always seems to take the longest, the parts like cleaning and cutting in. After that, the rest always goes much faster for me. I hope your vanity project turns out great!! We would love to see at least a few after pics

Replace those with Diet Coke and that would've been my room over eight years ago!

Afternoon check-in! I'm pooped. I have primed til I can prime no more. Kilz stinks!! Weird though, the longer I went, I must have gotten somewhat used to the smell, cuz it stopped bugging me. When I got started, I had to leave the bathroom and get fresh air about every half hour, lol.

So, I ended up painting Kilz on the ceiling over the top of the spray junk, so my frosted hair of yesterday was all for nothing!

I am soooooooooooo ready to start painting!!

Looks like everyone's having a good time in here today, glad to see you all are lollygagging, eating bon bons and napping, while I work my tail off!
