haha that was cute!
Best of Tuesday to every one. I am getting anssy, sitting at a desk the past 6 months is just not for me. I cant wait till Monday the 12th!!! I know sonicdsl cant either =O I hope every makes great clouds today.
Well I don't get too excited for surgeries or my own birthdays, but I'm excited for both of you! I wish you the best on your surgery crss, how long is your expected hospital stay? Can you vape while you're in there? I know they do things amazingly fast these days, heck when my son crushed his hip, they removed it, put it back together, threw in some plates and screws, and he was home in a week! I hope you get lots of rest, I've never found the hospital to be a very restful environment!

ok, a little back ground on my knee...
2.5 years ago i tore my meniscus at work (att). There workers comp department denied it was work related, i knew no better so.. paid for repair out of pocket & was off work for 6 months. Knee was good, no issues, back to work i go. Here I am 2.5 years latter, meniscus is torn again, mri shows it. Att's disability department once again denies it is a work injury... Told me i can pay for it my self once again... Uhm, i retain a lawyer (yuck) He only deals with att workman comp claims. Took lots of Dr visits & patience on my part. They now OK my claim, also will be getting $$ for 1st claim. I just want my knee fix'd. I think this surgery will be, cut 1/3 of my meniscus out. They allready tried to repair it once. The next knee surgery would be a replacement (NO!!) I am an att field worker, kind of hard to climb a pole with bad knees. So now i get to have it repaired, recover and hope to be back at work in December... Some down time, but i have some fluid stocked up & ceramic wicks for some genny tanks, Protanks, DBox tanks & batteries charged. All to help my recovery & get back into the work force. The past 6 months, i have been sitting here @ work at a desk, calling att customers.. I now have much more respect for office workers, call center agents. I ignored the HR notice of no ecigs usage in the office. My manager said i could vape in our tech room. I just sit in here alone anyways. So far August is looking great, its just been a long wait to get here. Have a great day!!

I soooooo wish I hadn't ignored my husband years ago and had filed a claim with workers comp over my injury because as it turns out I believe it's from years of abuse from grooming but doctors say it is to hard to prove now to go back and reopen the old claim.

Thank you all for the support. I read everything posted here. At times, i just draw a blank and am shy about posting. Cnew, yes i have had managers tell me its time to think about a management position (crewl) as a field tech, i make more money & have better health benefits. Managers do have much better retirement packages. SF, i know you have had issues with the workers comp stuff.. Your kind words have helped me threw many months sitting at this desk. I am happy your shoulder surgery has worked out for the best. I know i still have months of recovery and Dr visits still to get threw, i do see a light at the end of this tunnel. I hate taking pain meds, disconects me from my soul..
