Hi Tina, I JUST downloaded the app for Tapatalk for Windows yesterday. I am still figuring out how to post there.
My phone is a Lumia, because hubby works with MS and Nokia, so I'm not allowed anything else

I'm afraid it wasn't me who had the shoulder surgery, but I think it might have been Stoney (correct me if I am mistaken, Stoney.) Don't worry, though, I can totally understand the mixup. You can tell us apart by his posts being consistently informative or hilarious and mine being off topic or bad jokes!

good afternoon peoples! Haven't had much chance to get in here, but the bathroom is nearing completion, will be soooo glad when it's finally over. I had to do a little countertop revision around the cutout for the sink, to accommodate the old sink, then it turns out I needed to get a new one anyway, blech...but happy ending to that~~we went to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore here, and I got an almost new Kohler sink for $15!! Plus it had an orange tag, and evidently today all the orange tags were 20% off. What's better is that its a self rimming sink, so I don't have to use that old chrome hudee ring, easier to keep clean and doesn't look so "70's". Omigosh that store is amazing, if you have one in your city, and are looking to make some home improvements, go there and take a look around! They have an vast collection of doors, windows, flooring, carpet, furniture~~ among other things, and everything is so cheap and all the money they make is donated to Habitat for Humanity. Oh, they also do tear downs, if you are donating your old cabinets or whatever, they will come in and remove it for you, the whole place is run by volunteers. Can't go wrong there.

Sweet! Gotta love when things are marked down and then you get another discount! I bought about $60 worth of clothes and accessories the other day for only $35. The different colored tags had different discounts and then when I checked into Foursquare on my phone I got another 20% off!

I must say, I like the touch screen on my Lumia, but Windows is far behind Apple and Android for variety of apps. I think that margin will grow smaller over time, as Microsoft is such a major player and will attract more developers.
The next Lumia release will be a cross between a tablet and a smartphone, not quite as big as a tablet but bigger than a smartphone. I like it for portability, but can see how it might be too big for some people. It looks like it will have a great camera though. Think that will be rolling out early next year. I didn't like my Window's phone at all! Android is alright, but if I can, I'm going back to an iPhone. I hate iTunes, though.

I have one of those stores not too far from me Zooker. And yes, they gots bargains galore in there ! I also pick things up at our Humane Society thrift store alot. It's non profit and the money feeds/vet bills for the animals so I go there when I can Most of those kinds of stores around me are for good causes. Also have one that pays the Battered Women & Children, another does charity and burn victims that have lost homes in fire. I'd rather give to those places then go to big box stores when I can for certain stuff. I proud of you !

I wish we had thrift stores other than Goodwill and the Salvation Army that supported places like that, Aggie!

It went in my favor today! I was supposed to be there 6 hours and after less than 3 the physical therapist that was evaluating me came in and said it's pretty clear that I couldn't do that exam and she thought I should come back and do the one hour one and she's going to call my primary care practitioner and my disability attorney and ask them if that works for them. I'd say that works in favor of disability getting approved it just sucks that I've gone from being able to heft 120 lbs dogs around to this inability to even do some very basic marching in place.

ok, so I'm totally freaked out tonight. Today we bought a new exhaust fan for the bathroom, and it wouldn't fit the existing cutout in the ceiling, and since its so heavy it's supposed to be attached to the joists...gah.....so my husband had to cut a big hole in the ceiling in order to get it up there, omg the bathroom...I've been in there 3 times with the shopvac cleaning insulation off the floor, there's sheetrock dust EVERY-FREAKIN-WHERE. Now the thing is finally installed, but tomorrow (oh dear LORD I hope it's tomorrow) he has to patch up the hole with sheetrock, tape it, mud it...you know the drill...then he said he needed to spray texture up there, and I was all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't spray anything in there seriously am so uncomfortable with the mess in there right now. I can't bear to look.

I'm supposed to be getting a new wheelchair next month, and was told by my rep that I might have to pay $2000 out of pocket because I don't need a fancy lightweight chair, but disability will be glad to pay for one of those huge ugly hospital wheelchairs that weighs like 40lbs. Stupid Obama!!!

OMG one of the things I've been hoping for is a scooter and thanks to nobama I may not get one?!? Urgh I haven't been able to go to the mall in 2.5 years because I can't walk through it and one of those would free my life up sooooo much! Sigh it is what it is one day at a time... This too shall pass... I see my doubting Thomas doctor tomorrow morning and get to discuss one of my meds with her sigh... At least I know she spoke with this pt today and heard the early knews lol... I feel like a two year old right now but Urgh sometimes my doctor pi... Oops me off I am going to request she send me to a psychiatrist for my psychiatric med management because her meddling seems to be making things worse... Of course I'm not going to phrase it like that to her I promise I'll be nice... I'm just really tired... I had insomnia last night and only 5 hours sleep and have been running on fumes today...

Really, go find somewhere you can be neat while he makes that mess (in the name of progress)
Maybe reorganize the books on your bookshelf?

Morning all~~the ol' guy is off to work this morning, so I have peace for now. I stayed up late and put away tools and then cleaned up the mess in the bathroom, I knew there was no way I could sleep with all of that in there. Of course there's still a big gaping hole in the ceiling, but as long as I don't look up I'm cool with it. The new fan is soooooo quiet! I could not believe the condition of the old fan he took out. It must have been original to the house when it was built in 1978, completely rusted metal, caked with years of.....well who knows what all was adhered to that thing. I was cracking up though, I went online to check reviews for this fan, since we didn't know what we were looking for, we just went to Home Depot and picked one out...anyway, this fan is rated for a 400 square foot room, lmao. I'm imaging it sucking my hair straight up off my head the first time I sit down in there.

The VTR does look totally awesome, I only wish it were smaller. I compared the dimensions to my MVP, and the VTR is much bigger. I don't want anything larger. I just love the vv/vw option though. iTaste does make great products, I have 2 MVP's and 2 of the v3 vv/vw ones that are about the size of an eGo battery. Love them.

Hope everyone has a great day, I've got to get moving here and take a trip to Walmart for a few things, then I'm hopefully going to put the "new" bathroom sink in today!
