Good evening Stoney! Rainy with bursts of sunshine all day today, they had the furnace cranked at work and it wasn't even cold out, as a result, I was "slightly damp" all day long. blech. Haha I was driving home in the sunshine, and hit a rain cloud, it was dark and pouring for about a mile, and then whammo, sunny again. Crazy weather.

Hiya Zooker :) I would not enjoy heat + humidity either. I do like the rainy + sunny days, though, it's like getting the best of both worlds :D

Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a good Monday.
I know they can be tough.

God always seems to be reminding me to practice humility and my need to grow in His virtue.

I found this posted on Facebook tonight and I liked it alot, so I wanted to share it.

Not telling anyone else how to be, but reminding myself of my own weakness.

Hi my fellow DVer's, have a happy hump day.

My mom posted this memorial about my dad in her local newspaper where she lives in Timmins, ON Canada.
He died last year from smoking related cancer. This is the reason I quit smoking after 30 years of smoking.

JAMES LEO BROCHU JULY 28 - 1939 OCT. 5 -2012 It's one year now since you left us. Deep in our hearts you'll always stay. Loved & Remembered Every Day Sadly missed by Marion, Pat & Marc.

Please keep my mom in your thoughts, she's having a difficult time dealing with my dad's death. They were married 47 years when my dad died :(

Oh Trooper absolutely that's so hard on people that have been married so long! My mom and dad were married around 30 years when he passed (he was technically my step-dad) every year in May which was the anniversary of his death she would get depressed... I can only imagine what your poor mom is going through
