I'm right there with ya, big guy! We drive older vehicles, ( I refuse to make a car payment, either I can buy it or I can't), we bought an old house (hence the hideous bathroom, original 1978) with not a whole lot of area to be kept clean. I was actually not on board to have 2 bathrooms, because I didn't want to clean 2 bathrooms. Having had a kid in the house at that time though, we needed both. We always said when our son moved out, we were going to knock down the wall between the 2 and make it into one big bathroom, but that's a whole lot of money that we don't have, just to have a nice place to poop. Sorry, I'm totally focused on bathrooms this week. lol

Good morning, everyone!

Boy was I gone quite a while, yesterday! Hope everyone had a good day, yesterday, and was able to stay cool!

@Tina I found the pink O-rings at Michaels of all places. They came in a package and they had several colors.

lots of hump's here today!!!! Wish the best for ALL. I am off to another Dr, knee, appointment in an hour. This should be final visit, till surgery. I am bored sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day. Only so much idling i can take. Field work here I come, erm next year. Zooker, i to have a bathroom remodel in plans. I just cant do much with a bum knee at this time..

Hope your appointment went well! I know the feeling! I am so sick and tired of sitting around this house with not being able to go anywhere unless hubby can take me! I woke up around 10 PM tonight, searching for surgeons in my area just in case the one I see on the 31st refuses to do a knee replacement for me!

My Dad used to love it when mom would serve peas and carrots because he'd say "Now eat every carrot and pee on your plate" lol then when we went to the bathroom he'd always ask if everything came out alright... Sometimes he didn't know when to stop...

I do hope everything goes ok!

Tina I kennel train my dogs and they sleep in their kennels usually. They usually don't fight because they have no doubt who the dominant is... Me lol... No my old girl Star is... BTW did I tell you guys that she perked back up and we had changed dog food and someone had had a similar experience on that dog food so we changed to lamb of the same brand and she hasn't had a seizure since? She's doing great... Sooooo glad I talked to another friend!

Long day... A friend who isn't doing well health-wise chose to give her ferrets up to another friend of mine who does ferret rescue... It was a very difficult choice but I think it was the right move for her... Anyway I drove to town and took her out to dinner... I'm home now and going to bed... Night all

Oh that is awesome, Ree! I wish we had been able to crate train our dogs! Both threw a fit until we let them out of their crates! We kept them in there for hours and they would not give up, barking, whining, you name it! It got so annoying that hubby finally let them sleep in bed with us! I think they take up more room than we do! *Bangs head on wall* That is so great about your Star perking right back up and no longer having seizures! I have heard that lamb is better for both cats and dogs! I tried it with my oldest cat, Garfield, but he would have nothing to do with it! I have spoiled animals! *More head banging*

Hope you all have a great day, today! I probably won't be on until much later, as I have my therapy appointment to go to at Noon about 1/2 an hour away and they last about an hour. I think I will be emotionally and physically drained, today! So much to talk about with my therapist! Doesn't help that I just cleaned up the dining room table, my computer desk, and put a bunch of clothes together to give away. I have been on my feet much more than usual today! Surprisingly, the knee doesn't hurt as much as the shoulders do?!? LOL! Anyway, I will talk to you all, later! Gotta wake the hubby up so I can get to my appointment!

happy Thursday every one. Dr visit was another hurry up n wait routine. I get paid to sit at a desk 8 hours a day, no loss in $. I will keep on waiting. Eric, when are the ceramic wicks coming back in? My DBox PuriTank oem coil lasted 4 days with a thick fluid. I changed to a protank coil i had sitting around, same great performance. Its just so simple these days.

Tina, I changed my sig so that I don't have to type a new whine about this weather every day. It's much more pleasant for all of us when I don't have to repeat it One of the crazy things about NY is that they measure the "official" temperature in the middle of Central Park, which is always at least a few degrees cooler than the rest of the city. In the summer, it is usually at least 5 degrees cooler. It's a trick...a trick I tell you!!

Thanks again to Lilac for that fall pic. I look forward to those days ahead!

Crss, I hope they approve your surgery soon! I know it is frustrating to wait. I had to wait a year to get my surgery approved

Oh Tina sorry to hear about the difficulty with crate training your dogs! Yeah that's the benefits of being a pet training instructor and groomer... I know how to properly crate train you have to put the kennel in a populated area in your home with the door open and lead a trail of treats up to and into it to make them curious about it then when they go in it you treat them and I'm talking wonderful treats like little itty bitty pieces of hot dogs and string cheese and that's the only time they get it... Then once they start associating it with good things happening then you close the door for just a few seconds and treat and gradually get longer with variable times so they can't predict how long it will be closed... Then while it's closed you get up and move around the room and come back and treat them... Then leave the room... All this is variable so they can't predict length of time or what you're going to do and whether you're going to even close the door... But they associate that kennel with those treats no matter what situation... Dogs descend from wolves and wolves are denning animals so it's in their nature to like closed in spaces this is why they lay under and behind things.

It is so warm today! I'm so glad I'm in the house for good! Stay cool!
