Hi all

I just want to clear something up for all of my favorite people
I know none of you doubt me but I need to address the issue here anyway.


In the last day or so I have been accused of selling fake Kanger evod coils and I have been told there is "discussion" on ecf about it. Some people are saying "genuine" kanger evod coils come in only black boxes. This is not accurate.

Every box of evod coils I have purchased from Kanger have come in White boxes.
Every box of ProTank coils I have purchased from Kanger have come in Black boxes.

Now that they are actually the same coil it's irrelevant but I still buy and sell the two different boxes so it cuts down on confusion. I would just buy the "protank coils" ie.. boxes, but people would get confused and think I sent the wrong thing.

The ProTank coil boxes also have Kangers logo on the top flap, the evods do not have this logo.
Until someone brought this up I was not aware that there were any other boxes.

However I asked Kanger last night, Kanger confirmed for me that HeavensGifts gets their evod coils in Black Boxes like the ProTank boxes, while general vendors (like me) get white boxes. I would gather this is because HeavensGifts is larger and is a supplier in general and have asked for them.


I do not buy fakes, now or ever, my coils are genuine Kanger and if anyone is in doubt I have a signed letter (requested) from Kanger and anyone can contact Kanger and ask if I buy from them.

I am not really pleased that I have to defend myself because Kanger uses a different box for another vendor but there it is.

I have been told that soon all the coils will be in the same box so box confusion should be a thing of the past (until they change again I suppose)

But again, I have NEVER purchased any "knockoff" coils and I never will. I would never abuse anyone's trust in this way.
This matter is closed, if someone has a need for verification I can show the letter or they can contact Kanger.

Eric - I'm sure you realize that because of your prices and loyal customer base that you will be the target of misinformation campaigns. It's unfortunate, but in just about any market segment there are those that work harder at destroying their competition by any means, rather than actually improving their own service. In any case, we've got your back, bro!

that's always possible and I considered it but it was probably started by someone who had a bad coil, a leaker or something to that affect then assumed due to prices and the bad experience that it was fake, then posted somewhere and someone replied their boxes were black (they bought from HG) and there she goes. It might be underhanded but I doubt it. (at least I hope not lol)

If you sold inferior, knock-off merchandise, you would be sticky about customer complaints. Because of that dud charger, I know that you are not. Brief e-mail conversation, and a free replacement was on its way immediately.

You cut costs in other areas, but still sell quality merchandise.

Oh, btw...just did a quick scouting mission of the recent posts on the forum, and came across 2 topics on evod/protank coils...in both threads DV was highly recommended for purchasing authentic coils.

I agree with Aggie! Karma will catch up to those people! Eric when you have lower prices and better customer service, warranty and support other vendors will pull sneak attacks and try to undermine you from every which way because they're jealous and scared. They're so greedy it's not even funny! I adore you and your business!

I just got the results yesterday from my endoscopy and the biopsies showed that I have Barretts Esophagus. The Gastroenterologist said it's like precancerous cells but very few become full cancer but I still have to have endoscopy exams every 3 years. Then I reminded her that my biological father died from esophageal cancer and her eyes got really big. So we'll be keeping a close watch.

My question to all of you is do you think I need to start tapering off the nicotine and just vape without it? I don't trust doctors opinions because they don't know enough about vaping.

I continue to vape without nicotine, according to a doctor's recommendation, and I am no worse off for it. OTOH, I don't think that plain nicotine is a known carcinogen.

Maybe someone gave a little more importance to the "discussion" at ecf ...

But you know what? This has taught me a good lesson about Kanger, I voiced my concerns and they immediately came through for me, they didn't wait, waffle or say maybe, just sent me an official letterhead notice pronto!

Love them even more now and I can slightly forgive the sometimes long wait periods now.

If you can ween yourself off nicotine I say do it, once your body adjusts there is no need to have any excess chemicals at all, I am down to 6mg and soon 0 If I could enjoy plain VG/PG I'd even do that lol.
