Wow! Lots of laughs this morning while catching up! Good morning all!
Happy belated birthday, Sonic! I'm so sorry that I missed it!
Happy Saturday people. I am off to the usual farmers market... One last stroll along with a knee brace for a while.. Some sad family news i just got this am, i will deal with it as best as possible. Please say a few prayers for my sister Laura Hunter, she lost every thing she owns + two cats last night. Flash flood in Colorado, washed her house away. She is in surgery right now. I am crying as i type, i am in no physical condition to go out and help her =\ My mother and i are here for her, will post on her recovery. My sister is so strong willed, she will get back up.

I am now in shock, my sister was the woman who climbed a tree to survive..
I am so sorry that happened to your sister, CRSS! That's just horrid! I saw that she seems to be doing better, but how are things going for her now?
AG51 I love your coffee posts. I hope every one has a great day. sonicdsl, happy l8t b-day. I am recovering from removal of 20% meniscus, in right knee. Feels great so far, going for no crutches by friday.
Oh no! I missed your surgery, too! How are you feeling, yourself? I think getting off crutches by tomorrow is awesome! I would have expect it to be a much longer recovery! Well, being on crutches, at least. Crutches are a P.I.T.A. anyway!
Something for the ladies...
ANY INTEREST??

I have to gauge interest before I commission these.
Oh! Very pretty! I hope to have some extra money by September! I don't know if I would get the pink or the purple one, though. Hard decision, as I love both colors! At least I have some time!
Good morning everyone! I hope u all have a great Wednesday!!! Today is my sober birthday, two years baby!! Praise God!!!!
Congrats, KalebK!
Awesome for you! Congrats
Today is my 14th Wedding anniversary! so we have a date in common!
Happy Anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Gormly!
I agree with Aggie! Karma will catch up to those people! Eric when you have lower prices and better customer service, warranty and support other vendors will pull sneak attacks and try to undermine you from every which way because they're jealous and scared. They're so greedy it's not even funny! I adore you and your business!
I just got the results yesterday from my endoscopy and the biopsies showed that I have Barretts Esophagus. The Gastroenterologist said it's like precancerous cells but very few become full cancer but I still have to have endoscopy exams every 3 years. Then I reminded her that my biological father died from esophageal cancer and her eyes got really big. So we'll be keeping a close watch.
My question to all of you is do you think I need to start tapering off the nicotine and just vape without it? I don't trust doctors opinions because they don't know enough about vaping.
Ree
Vaping since 5/12/12
I am so sorry to hear, Ree! I hope it doesn't become cancerous! I'm sorry to hear about your scooter, too! I hate the fact that I can't go to the mall and shop, anymore. I'm limited to Wal-Mart, the local grocery store, and if I'm lucky, Target (they only care one or two scooters, but usually have them free). I do have my rollator and on occasion do make the occasional trip to the plus-sized clothing consignment shop, but only because I don't like paying full price for clothes that are only going to fit for a short time!
I don't know what's going on with my Synvisc One injection approval. I called the insurance company and they said they haven't received anything requesting approval, even. So, I called my orthopedic surgeon's office on Wednesday and left a message. No call backs, yet, so I might call to inquire if he's on vacation or something. Either way, he should have someone covering for him and they could at least return my call. I really want to get this over and done with.
My husband is looking for a new job, as his current one is cutting his hours. This week he's only working 32 hours and the next 27! He's supposed to be full time, which they say is 32+ hours at Wally World! *sigh* Anyway, if he does get a new job, he'll lose his benefits and then I don't know what's going to happen with my knee and mental health! I rely on his insurance for prescription coverage for the main part. Not sure if Medicare would pay for the Synvisc injection. Anyway, he was interviewed by a former employer, yesterday, and we're hoping for the best. If hired in, it would take 90 days for him to get benefits. He's hoping if he does get hired that Wal-Mart will let him work weekends, but with how they are cutting his hours and screwing him over in other ways, I doubt it. All we can do is hope for the best!
I even looked into going through disability's ticket to work program and contacted the local vocational rehab center to try working, myself. The last two days were so painful, that I had to call and cancel that idea. Especially if getting my medications covered by insurance will be up in the air. They keep me sane and able to tolerate people!
Well, not much else going on. I have my therapy appointment today and then hubby and I are going to pick up some of my prescriptions at Wally World. I'm going to see about getting my ears re-pierced, but I don't know if I can brave it!

I am considering the idea of going to a tattoo and piercing place, as I've heard they use needles and not a gun. I'll have to call a few and see how much they charge, though. I've also heard the prices for their earrings are more expensive. IDK why I want to get my ears re-pireced, as I haven't worn earrings in over ten years! I feel it'll be a reward for losing weight, though! I'm not one to get my nails done or wear makeup, so a makeover is out of the question. I was thinking of a tattoo, once I get to my goal weight, but I don't think I could endure the pain. Especially if I'm worried about the pain piercing my ears will cause!
Take care, everyone, and have a great day!
