Good afternoon DV. I hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

When I'm puffing on my e-cigarette I seem to get less vapor, is there a way I can adjust the evod clearomizer to get more vapor? There is a looks like a screw at the bottom of the clearomizer. .... It's the little screw at the bottom of the clearomizer that you can see in the picture I uploaded.
I'm not aware of any way to increase the vapor on stock eVods. The "screw" on the bottom is actually the positive post...the slits on the sides and the hole in the center are there to allow air into the coil head (air is supplied from the bottom of the coil in the eVod). The post does not unscrew, it is pressed in place and can be pulled out. If you watch a video on Youtube for rebuilding an eVod, you will see what I mean. I think the only way to increase vapor production is to rebuild the coil head for that purpose.
Happy Saturday every one!! I wish i had some time with the clearomizer, but i own none. I am off for a walk at the farmers market!! Even going to drive the car down there my self. I put my new crutches in the attic this morning, never used them. Very nice day here in the OC.
Nice Crss...already walking around the market and you've put the crutches in deep storage? Congratulations :)

The problem I'm having is too much air getting in through the holes in the side of the clearomizer. If I blocked the holes with some tape would that increase vapor production?
You definitely wouldn't feel that the draw is so airy, and it might increase vapor production a bit, but it won't create gigantic clouds :) I actually plug some of the holes on the eVod myself...some of them have 2, and some have 3 holes on the skirt that covers the eGo threads. If it has 3, I almost always block at least one of them. If you want to experiment with it, I've noticed that just putting a finger over one of those holes while you vape does change the draw. If you don't want to do that, or if you want something more permanent, then I break the tip of a toothpick off in the holes. Some people put a drop of glue in there. Both work well, and are reversible if you decide you don't like it (just poke it out with a pin or needle). Either way, it's worth trying to block off one or more holes to see if your vape improves. Good luck with it :)

I just emailed Eric the problems I was having with my eVod clearomizer. He said that usually the coils on them are faulty sometimes. I'm gonna order replacements for my eVod clearomizers. I was thinking of ordering 1 five pack of the 2.2 ohms and 1 five pack of the 1.8 ohms. What do you think?

I generally prefer the 1.8Ω coil heads...but if you have any juices that caramelize/burn easily pick up some of the 2.2Ω coil heads since the higher resistance makes for a cooler vape.

Check the resistance of the coil. Increase the voltage or wattage setting on battery.

Ok first up, let me expand on that a bit.

I do not mean to imply that usually there are bad coils.. far from it, it's that there can be a bad coil causing the problem but it is not always (and usually isn't) the case, bad coils are not common or prevalent, I just want to make that clear. But it can be possible.

If I wasn't clear sorry :( or if I confused the situation :(

Stoneface (and others here) are much more knowledgeable than I and I am grateful that I have forum users (and good customers) who take the time to explain these things and make recommendations (Thanks Stoneface) :)

I sit here and pack orders all day and get new products and do a million other things so I rarely have time to fiddle, test and improve on things like these awesome people, so sometimes my responses in email are more generic like "maybe you have bad coils" lol I don't know if I went into the whole different ohms/coils/volatge with you? if not, I am sorry I should have taken the time.

In my opinion, if you are having draw issues that are not related to a personal preference, that are intermittent from one coil to the next, then you have an issue with a coil (or the base of the clearomizer), if your issue is fairly consistent then you do not have a bad coil(s) and rather it is a personal preference or voltage / ohms issue. As Stoneface mentioned (and also Fullknight) lower ohms will cause a warmer vape, with liquids that caramelize faster or more with higher heat you might run into more issues with a lower ohm. also with higher ohms you can choose (if you have a VV battery) a higher voltage. You could also plug the hole (cool tip that I forgot about)

I apologize if I didn't go into all this detail with you via email on all the possibilities I just have limited time to do it.

plus I am being dragged kicking and screaming away from the computer for some honeydolist stuff today :D

I may have wasted some coils when it was the clearo base which was the problem. It might be a good idea to develop a tracking system to determine if it is a juice, base, ohm, or battery problem.

Yo Sunday friends! I am happy to report that we have rain today! Not a bitty little sprinkle either, real showers. We needed it bad and I'm thrilled to see it. Painting and spackling in the living room today. Lots of damage revealed when i removed the hideous carpeted moulding....jeez the guy that invented that must be related to the popcorn ceiling guy. Pffft.

I guess it's not a lazy Sunday for Zooker. It sounds like your house was the testing ground for all bad interior decorating ideas  But I'm glad you are correcting all the ills on the home front :thumb:

(Sorry, I had to...........:D)

Haha maybe not correcting all of them, but many for sure...at least the ones that cant be easily hidden! I havent painted the last living room wall yet...but just sanded down the window sill that both Leo and Munnky chewed on when they were puppies going to paint that next...and then no more couch in front of the window anymore!

It really is! The bathroom is so small, and the previous door, gahhhhhhh it was just old and ugly and most of all in the way, I love the sliding door so freaking much, I would love to put one in the master bath, and also in each doorway of the kitchen-- the kitchen is separated from the living room by a wall with an entry on each end. I would love to be able to close those entry ways off in the wintertime when we run the heater. It would keep it much warmer in the living room, rather than waste the heat in the kitchen were we don't need it.

I completed the painting in the living room tonight, omigawwwwwwwwd what a difference in here. Why did I wait 10 years to paint?! Gone is the hideous dirty old white paint, replaced by a nice, warm tan. It feels so cozy and homey in here now. I just need to put the moulding along the carpet tomorrow, and then we're moving furniture around. I'm also getting rid of some ...stuff, there's just too much stuff and I want the clutter gone. Oh yeah, and I have plenty of paint left to paint entry way at the front door. Yay! It's all coming together. I have enough time to paint our bedroom before I go back to work on Sept. 4th!

Oh, and I vacuumed the holy heck out of the popcorn ceiling with the shop vac, and along with the new paint, it looks much better, I can live with it for awhile longer now.

Still want to buy that Sprite, I come and look at it every day!
