One of our Go-go Nation members sent me a link to a cool little bottle with a needle tip.
I thought the needle was a bit too small to refill Go-go carts but while thinking about it I figured I could do something very similar with what I already have on hand...

The Go-go Needle cap has been born!
testcap1.jpg

testcap2.jpg

all it is is a regular bottle that I sell along with a Luer Lock Tip syringe pressed through the top.
I added just a bit of silicone the interior and let it dry so the tip will not come loose. Now I can fill carts from my premade bottles with nary a drop anywhere.:p

While I was on my tip recently I used the syringes and bottles like normal and I can tell you, this is a breeze to work with.

Thanks for the idea Allie!

The only issue right now is the tip, it's unprotected because the cap no longer fits. I tried cutting it down but it didn't work, so I put some silicone in the lock tip cap, snipped off the lock end of the cap and let it dry, once dry I stuck the needle into it to create a "channel", now it fits very nicely.

You could always get one of these for the tip though:
18sc.jpg

I can get these with smaller needles premade from China (yuck) if there is demand for it. Or you guys and gals can make them yourself for just a few dollars. HUGE time saver and makes it easy to refill on the go.

Note: I'll make them if people want me to.

These are a great idea, and this is the only place I've been able to buy them.

One 15ml blunt needle tipped e-Liquid bottle

Yes, they are handy, so handy that I've bought 20 of them and plan to buy some more. If you start selling something like this, I'll buy them from you. The ones I have can be carried anywhere without worry of leaking, and they're great to fill up cartos.

Word of warning.

I have it on good authority that the new LCD Go-go batteries of the first run have faulty "windows", they fall out and shake around. I have NOT seen this first hand, but have been told NOT to buy from a vendor who was ready to sell them to me.

Also, a quote directly from Kanger:
"but i want to tell you that the quality of the GOGO LCD is not very good"

Second batch will be better and I have an order in already.
I have a picture below but it's a competitor so I have blocked out the logo. Not looking to badmouth anyone. They got jilted on this one. Hope they didn't buy too many or at least maybe theirs end up being good.
They are a good company so I am sure they are testing them

badlcd2.jpg

I have to say the one I have works very good. They are about an inch longer than a regular batt. I really like the LCD feature it is nice to know when your batt is getting low especially hard to keep up with if you are like me and have several going at once.:2cool:

Because it's not true.

I have been using this new Go-go continuously for two days now and the LCD window is rock solid. It does not "shake around."

I don't know who your source is but they and you have got it completely backwards. The Go-go LCD is very good indeed.

Once again ... your facts aren't actually facts. Nobody got "jilted" with this PV. It looks good, performs great, and my first impression of the Go-go LCD was how well it was put together. I know 3 other people who have been continually vaping this little marvel and we're all blown away by this new Go-go. Nobody's done a "Quincy MD" on it yet but overall it seems to outperform my other Go-gos. A lot of mini-improvements went into this Limited Edition Pro and it shows.

There's no reason to further test the Limited Edition Go-Go Pro. That's what the prototypes were for. This is definitely an e-cig that is ready for Prime Time. And I suggest to anyone who wants a Go-go with the Mo-jo ... hurry up and grab one. Limited Edition means when they're gone ... they're all gone.

Hi Bob

I respect your opinion, I do and I do not doubt your experience. But I got it from two suppliers last week and then straight from Kanger tonight. I cant get any more factual than directly from the manufacturer. So they are indeed, facts.

It is also not a limited edition or at least it isn't anymore. Have you spoken with a Kanger rep and they told you that? I'd be interested to know as they said different just a few hours ago and it wouldn't be ok with me if they are lying.

If I had to guess (and this isn't a fact) I would have to say it was "limited" because of the production problems and reported inconsistant quality. This doesn't mean that many of them are not good, it only means that some are not good. I didn't say all of the LCDs would have problems. There is a big difference. If you have a 20% error rate, that is bad, but it doesn't mean the other 80% are bad.

(also, almost every model coming out has an LCD option now, so an LCD on the Go-go is evolution, not limited)

Again, from what I was told from Kanger It is going into a second run. You can email Ami, Annie or just about any rep there. They will tell you exactly what they told me. Kanger isn't a secret.

I am VERY glad yours is working fine, I am honestly, I hope everyone's works fantastically, I want to see the Go-go evolve and like I mentioned in the thread you were quoting, the company selling them here in the US is a good company.

My goal is to be transparent and I think I have been, I have updated this thread on all the happenings, how I get my product, how I have negotiated, successfully got a color run in batteries, carts and cones that no one else had (and still doesn't). That also means I have to pass on what they tell me and hold no secrets. It does us no good as a "nation" to not be 100% transparent.

Then I was told of the LCD, first I was excited, then a bit annoyed that I wasn't told (since I have been buying larger quantities) and then disappointed when told NOT to buy them now.

I have 40 coming in 20 black and 20 stainless. They are supposed to be "second run". I will be testing a few vigorously. There is no reason for me to make up things as I sell for less regardless and anyone is free to go anywhere else if they feel I am being less than 100% forthcoming.

Haha...agreed. Now that I have the 510 to Go-go I actually use a 510 passthrough when I am on my computer (all the time)
I think I have vaped more today than ever! :p

Mr. Gormly,

The four people I know, including myself, who are using the Limited Edition Go-go Pro, aren’t having the problem(s) you’re talking about. To date no one who purchased the Limited Edition Go-go Pro has complained about the issues you are “warning” us about. ECF gets loads of posts from people who write about their experiences with defective products. Your posts are unique. You’re writing about, and warning about, a phantom problem that you’ve only heard about.

I find it hard to believe that Kanger reps, or reps from any other vendor for that matter, told you they manufactured and shipped defective Go-go’s to your competitor. I’m sorry but this doesn’t look like a warning. Instead it looks like you’re trying to kill the sales of another e-cig vendor until you can bring a similar product into the marketplace.

Mr. Gormly,

Bob, first I doubt you are sorry, your initial post was hostile in intent.
I really don't appreciate not too subtly being called a liar and a sneak. I really don't.

I was being nice, but that ends now. My character is all I have and I will defend it.
But yet, I do not need to defend myself, you can get the information yourself direct from Kanger. if you are going to sit there and make assumptions about my motives, you really should be able to back up what you are saying. All it takes is a bit of communication with Kanger.

You are not a supplier, however, you can go to Kangers website, and ask Annie on MSN if you can buy the Go-go LCD's right now. Then, you can come back and apologize.

If all I had was one source (even Kanger directly as I do) telling me about QC issues, I would have thought they were putting me off to satisfy a competitor, but it was from multiple sources. The only people who didn't express any issues about the LCD was Banktown... LOL (of course, because they don't care)

I find it hard to believe that Kanger reps, or reps from any other vendor for that matter, told you they manufactured and shipped defective Go-go’s to your competitor.

When did I say that? I said they told me there were manufacturing issues and the quality wasn't good so I should not buy them now, at that particular time, what am I to assume from that? They only had one run previously. I never said any other company had bad Go-go LCD's, it could certainly be inferred that it was a possibility, but I didn't say it. I also mentioned twice that the company I was not naming but referring to was a good company and would QC them. How is that maligning someone else? it's promoting if anything.

I do not need to delay someones sales or badmouth a competitor, I sell my batteries for less than HALF of all competitors and my kits were 25.00 LESS (until they lowered them). I also stated when I first posted about the LCD that my price would be significantly lower, initially $18.99 now it's 19.99 due to the higher cost they charged me recently. That is still 33% LESS than the competition, and the kit will be less as well. Why do I need to worry about a competitor? I could have ordered 50 LCD's last week and had them in and told everyone how silly it would be to buy them for more, but I didn't. Do you honestly think I couldn't get them and I was delaying, really?
I have custom Red, Pink and Purple sets... I believe I have proved I can get what Go-go Nation wants, and quickly. Does anyone else have colored Cartomizers? Cones? Rubberized Black Batts (soon)? Or 510 to Go-go adapters? All requested by Go-go nation and delivered. I have ZERO profit to show for all of this, just the unbelievable support of the community and excitement of running a business.

I realize I am ranting here :p by I get sick to my stomach when someone thinks I am lying. I was raised better than that.

Bob, you can express your opinion and make subtle accusations about my character and business practices in the all things go-go thread or the supplier reviews threads, but please don't come in here to do it. I am trying to deliver good, honest, 100% accurate information and I think I've done that. I can't stop you, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't.

I believe that if you are going to accuse someone of being nefarious, you should at least do your homework instead of saying "hard to believe".

Finally to put the "limited" issue to rest.. have you EVER heard of a company from China making a limited edition of something they can sell boatloads of? Because if you have, I'd fall out of my chair right now. Do you have any idea how much it would (and did) cost Kanger to make a larger casing and develop the electronics and then put it on a line... just for a limited run? No way. The only way they'd make it limited is if it has QC issues and even then, they just fix it and call it R2 or V2, if that's the case here, which it seems to be, then the only thing that is limited is V1

So I have been experimenting with cases and batteries and all kinds of stuff.
I love the Go-go cartomizers so much.

I love the battery as well but I am like Tim The Tool Man.. MORE POWER!
So I created a dual battery double life Go-go Mod.
It's the same length of the Go-go battery just wider with a nice form fitting grip area.

The casing:

mod2.jpg

The innards (not very pretty yet, haven't cleaned it up.)

mod1.jpg

Shown for scale. (it's tiny)

mod3.jpg

It works and charges and has a nice button on the side.
I need to improve some things obviously but I like it.

I am thinking about putting a UBS connector on the bottom and wiring a passthrough so you could get a 5V vape and a 3.7 vape! Like a poor mans VV Mod. There currently isn't enough room for an LCD or a Voltage Regulator (unless I ditched the second battery) but I have other ideas for this one that might make both a reality.

More things coming.. LOL

This is going to have 2600 mAH? That is awesome! Looks pretty good too ... I'd probably buy one, even if it wasn't purple (although it should be!)

You just keep doing what you think is best, Eric, there will always be naysayers. I feel you are a straight up honest guy and I think most of your customers would agree. You have served the Go-Go Nation in ways that the original vendors wouldn't, and you've given us what we want! No one can ask for more.

Peace!

Thank you Cleo!

Yes, 2600mAh and I have MORE to come.
How about a Go-go that lasts a week? LOL!

I could probably paint it for you but it's just an ABS casing so I'd have to find a special paint :p

SO VERY EXCITING. My wife has told me I am in such a better mood since I started this!
Testing parts is costing me a small fortune but I don't care LOL. I am having FUN!

Eric,

It really looks interesting and good - just the way it is. I like the size and the shape - it looks comfortable. Please keep us posted on how well the project is going. I for one would like to see you selling these soon.

I like black, can I buy this one? lol. No, seriously. I'm about to order my first Go-Go, but this just looks right to me. I was looking into a bottom feeder, this makes much more sense. I like it!!

mod3.jpg

Pass-thru would be great, a discreet 'off' button to prevent misfires, and if the case only had enough room to be able to slip another Go-go cartomizer or two inside... here is where we start to venture into the idea of a Go-Go that lasts the week!

This is still "in development" although it works, I have to put it through it's paces. No way I would sell an untested first run mod. Right now I am using the electronics from a Go-go battery that was disassembled, but I would want to move away from that. I'd rather not take a battery apart for every mod. I might use protected batteries and forgo the electronics altogether but I'll have to figure out how to design a charging/firing indicator LED.

I still have to work on a few things, especially a discreet off switch because right now the momentary switch is too easy to press, so if you put it in a pocket it might fire.

I personally LOVE this thing, but it isn't ready to sell just yet.
Once I get all my ducks in a row on it, I will make it available fairly inexpensively. The case is pretty cheap, just have to get all the other parts right. I might get a different button as this one is pretty sensitive and a bit too easy to press down.

The case will not be openable, it will have to be permanently glued shut for many reasons, most of which is that I will need to use silicone to keep the parts exactly where they belong and it's a tight squeeze. I am looking at another case that is similar that has a bit more room, maybe for the LCD.
If I do end up selling this, I'll offer a swap out program if one fails so they'll never be a need for someone to get inside to fix it.

STOCKING
A few people have emailed asking if I was back in stock on some items.
Just as an update I have just about everything in stock right now.

Stylez77, the black battery is in stock now.

Hey Eric,

I was at your website and I cannot find the regular black battery. It was there the other day (before the update added the LCD battery) it was 12.99. The only thing I seen now are the color ones, the LCD one and the Rubberized black battery. Is it a glitch maybe? or is it you only have the rubberized black ones left?

I just had issues trying to place an order... :-(
It dropped my cart as I went to checkout... no black drip tip.

*Also, I'm just curious what the coupon code is for, I can't seem to find one. My order is pending... thank you!

Hi 0pus0ne

Coupon codes are what I give out in case there is a sale, or a special discount. There are no specials at the moment.
Not sure what you mean with the cart, I am out of drip tips in black, I had one, perhaps another customer beat you to the last one? I have an order for the last drip tip.

More coming early next week.
Including Stainless drip tips.
