The easiest way is to take a carto where the filler is old or burnt. Remove it. Clean the carto (I usually do a dry burn then). Drip 3 drops at a time. You get great flavor, a little better than with cartos but it's still what you can expect from a Go-go. Once you use different gear it can certainly work but won't really represent how the juice will be in a Go-go. Not that there's anything wrong with other gear, I vape LR at 3.7 and HV atties at 5V along with my Go-gos depending on my mood and the juice.

What do you guys use with your Go-Go to test the 100's of sample flavors out there? Has anyone tried this or something similar? I am looking for a better/easier way than using/cleaning cartomizers.

I was using a Riva to drip on but now that I have the VV passthrough, I use that with a Vapage hybrid 2.0 atty. (Hybrid is a 306 inner works with a 510 outer casing) This works better as I can get closer to the Go-Go at 4.2 (purple setting, naturally)

And, MrsD -- I did not buy all the purple and pink!!!! (this time)

I think most of us try out our flavors using a GoGo carto that we've removed the filler from and just drip in it. It gives a more authentic taste than using something non-GoGo. I just blow it out between flavors or vape some VG only (without inhaling) until the flavor is gone.

Does it matter where you drip the juice? Directly down the center tube or along the side? Does blowing it out remove enough of the old flavor to use a new flavor?

I am going to visit my Sister today, she's a couple hours away, I will not be on the forum later today or most of tomorrow, but will process all orders Sunday night and get them out Monday, with the exception of black cartos and adapters which I am still waiting for.

The adapters will not be here until after the 5th, China has yet another holiday :(

The PINK FRIDAY sale has now become the PINK WEEKEND sale, the offer is good until Monday :)

New Cleaning Method for Cartomizers

I realize I am probably not coming up with something new here but since my cleaning kit hasn't come to fruition yet, it game me time to think about it, I realized that the same thing I was going to put in a kit, can be accomplished with what I already sell.

You will need:

One of these:

PLUS

One of these:

OR for better control:

The reason you need the first syringe is the long blunt tip needle, the other two do not come with needles

1. Take the needle from the first one, attach it to the second of your choice.
2. Cap the bottom of your carto with the end cap (condom)
3. Fill the syringe with filtered water (filtered from tap is fine, but dont use just tap water)
4. Insert the syringe in the CENTER POST HOLE all the way down.
5. Depress the syringe.
6. Repeat several times (I do it five times)

Shake out, turn over and let dry.

The insertion of the needle in the center post and the pressure of the water from the syringe forces all the excess juice and particles through the fill and out the top, you end up with a clean carto no fuss. All you need to do is dry it.

Wait a minute.. did I just hurt my carto sales? :)

Replacement Inner fill

LOL, sorry for the bad picture :)

Replacement Inner Fill for your cartomizers.

I have found this to be the closest replacement for the inner fill that actualy works.
It is a bit thicker than the regular inner fill but seems to work just fine as a replacement. You get 10 or so 2"x2" fill pieces that you will have to cut to size.

Used to replace the inner (not outer) batting in cartomizers.
Enough for 10 or more cartomizers.

I tried a few things, using the entire 2x2 size
Cutting it down to the exact size and also wrapping it more than 2 times around the center (longer piece) All seem to work fine.

It does seems to have a slightly harder draw but that could be due to it's "newness".
Anyway, it's a dollar, and you can't argue with that.

To be honest, the actual cost is probably around 20 cents, but this is one of those items I had to buy in bulk so the potential is there for me to make some profit on this if I sell them all (not likely LOL)
Please try it out and report back on your results.

Why,... WHY do I keep hurting my cartos sales???

Maybe this is my evil plan to get you all to love me so much that you won't go to the competition!

Just a picture of my Custom Painted Metallic Blue XL2 with the Dual Coil Cartomizer :)

Go-goUSA.com_3000mAH_mod_Battery_2_blue_with_Dual_Coil.jpg

My current personal Vaping options: (what I am currently vaping with)

Go-goUSA.com_My_current_setup.jpg

Note: in case anyone tries it, the XL2 will flash a few times after each button press. I believe this is due to the low resistance of the dual coil carto, but it works fine and gives off a slightly smoother vape than using it on a Go-go batt and with a 4000mAh battery installed it will outlast the battery draining carto (I think)

On the order I just placed could you substitute 2 of these for one of the drip tips please?

Yes, don't drip it down the center tube, drip it along the side of it. If blowing it out doesn't remove enough of the flavor just drip some plain VG in it and vape that without inhaling until it tastes clean. If the flavors are similar it will only take a few times for the complete new flavor to come through. If it's totally different than use the VG. Some flavors actually taste good together and some... not so much. :(

First a caveat: Eric works his .... off for us and when he does make a mistake, he over compensates so were I seeking replacements, I would have PM'd him. ;) I'm just trying to round up any feedback for his and our mutual benefit.

Whew! With that out of the way, lol. My last order I picked up a few black and stainless cartos. I have been using the Go-Go for a tad over 6 months now so I have a fair basis of comparison and I am an original disciple of Mohawkz Methods. As always, my black cartos were fine as we have come to expect. The 5 pack of stainless I ordered, not so much. Even though they are sold individually, if you order 5, Eric sends you a factory sealed in cellophane pack.

The first one took only 62-64 drops. Using the same juice for comparison, a new black took the 95+ drops. Maybe an odd carto, right? It vaped fine but on the first refill, on reattaching it, it blew the coil. Stuff happens, right? So I grabbed a second stainless and it too took no more than 64 drops of the same juice (in 10-12 drop increments allowing settling between). It also blew but this while priming it.

Switched batteries and the third one had a noticeable shorter amount of filler and took 68 drops. It never would fire on any of the 8 different Go-Go bateries I tried it on. Bottom line question: Has anyone else noticed a difference in the silver stainless cartos as to any of the described? Kanger does manufacture the cartos in at least 2 separate factories they own so that may account for it but I mention it only as the last silver stainless kit BillB sold a few months back had very similar experiences with the cartos only.

Any feedback will help my OCD as it is obviously a Kanger issue and it will also allow Eric to address it with his Kanger rep when next he deals with them. It is also important since the Choppers use these so just thinking ahead.

Thanks for any feedback! :)

When I got my chopper tank a couple weeks ago, the stainless carto it came with was prefilled. Just flushed it and dried it; works great. The other stainless ones I have work great so far; I've had them for a a couple of weeks.

That's odd that it came prefilled. All the ones I make have never been prefilled as I check each and everyone one when I punch and install them. When I say make its just meaning the Cyclone tank.Unless where ever they come from made a mistake and got a prefilled mixed up with the none prefilled. Not saying you are wrong in any way, just meaning this would be the first that Ive heard about one being in one of the tanks.

Did you take any of the stainless ones apart and remove the filler to see how they are made and what exactly the difference is between the stainless and the powdercoated? I'd sure like to know if there is any difference in filler density, filler material and coil placement.

Edit to add: I know that when I first started ordering the Chopper tanks they came with gold-based cartos that didn't work very well, for very long. I took them apart and they were built using a totally different process with totally different materials. Coil was different. Filler material was different and not very uniform. They had a metal rod alongside the centertube. they didn't have the thin filler wrap at all, instead they had a hole punched through the centertube with a piece of filler stuffed in horizontially. Obviously these were not made by Kanger and if they were, Kanger made an attempt to modify the design to prevent people from rebuilding them. After disassembly, it was obvious that these were designed to be used once and not for very long either. Admittedly and to his credit, Chopper took the gold-based cartos out of circulation quickly and replaced them with what appears to be genuine Kanger cartos. Problem solved and Chopper's tanks are great now as far as I'm concerned.
Sometimes I think that some batches of cartos are like Chevys built after lunch on Fridays. They suffer with quality issues due to operator error. The principle is great but the actual execution is flawed depending on the assemblers of the day. I don't know the exact building process the good folks in China use for making them but I would guess that it's a combination of automated machinery and hand work. The problems I've noticed from reports on ECF is that the filler quantity is inconsistant. Too litle and you get flooding. Too much and the density doesn't allow for proper wicking and you get a burnt taste even with a full carto. sometimes the machine that inserts the filler doesn't press the filler package all the way to the bottom and sometimes the cotton centerwrap is initially positioned too high to wick juice consistantly to the coil. All these problems can be rectified by using the rebuild method and having a good comprehension of how these units actually work. I have not experienced many of these problems with different batches of cartos as I am still using original cartos both in stainless and black paper wrapped from March of this year. I bought in quantity at that time and in all honesty, the rebuild method works very well for me. I've been using the gogo daily as my main vape since early March and I've only had to throw away 7 cartos over that period of time, all for burned out coils.

So here's what I'd do in your situation. I'd disassemble the bad stainless ones and check to see if it is a genuine Kanger. Compare filler size and density with the good powdercoated ones. I've noticed different amounts of filler when I've taken out 10 or so for cleaning and rebuilding all at once.
If it's a genuine Kanger that you can dry burn and refresh the coil then repack it with some filler you know is the right size from a carto you had real good luck with and are waiting to clean and rebuild. Note: I always save my fillers from cartos that have burned out the coil. Also you can repack the suspect carto with Fluval. Just make sure you use the cotton wrap with it. Fluval is less dense and I cut it 1/3rd wider and 1/3rd longer than the original filler on a good carto. (After splitting the fluval pad lengthwise into thirds)
I'll be very interested to hear the results of the teardown and what you find in the way of materials. I know it's a pain but gogo nation has a track record of finding answers and solutions for any glitches that appear in the system.

This is really odd, I haven't run across prefilled until recently. I think they may have snuck some in on me.
I can tell you that I specifically order them non filled.

Just so anyone knows, if you ever get something from me and it is not to your liking in any way, be it prefilled cartos or whatever, if you want an exchange or refund, my policy is always to help. Please don't feel like you are stuck with something you don't want.

I hope I am not going to have to start checking them, it is not something I really want to do, when you get hundreds of them in, testing one from each box can be time consuming and puts my hands on items. If it comes to it I will do it, for now I will randomly test them to see if they are indeed slipping them by me.

This is a weird request but I would like to ask a few of the seasoned members about something.
I have been frauded by one or two people, I think it's one posing as two. When I started I accidently put "Money Order" as an option for purchasing.

In my haste to ship out orders for people I didn't notice that one person ordered quite a bit with this payment method. I did then notice and they promised they'd send the MO, I trusted them and shipped the product. I then thought I had shut off the option but I did not.

A few days later someone else with the same email address but different address did the same thing for more product, this was during a time when I was really busy and again I didn't notice. I never received payment from this person(s)

I emailed and was told they would send the money and look into the other "person" who orders. It's been two months.

My question is, what should I do? Or is there anything I can do?
Should I out them on ECF? Tell other sellers?

I am still new to all this but the loss of product set me back quite a bit.
Essentially they took YOUR money because as you know, I pump all the "profit" back into buying new items. Not only did it take the edge off of my ability to trust people, but it also hurt the ability to offer items cheaper.

Any ideas?
