Didn't order batts because you (txtumbleweed) said they took 350's and I just got some...if they need 650's I gotta find some...sigh.

When that red tank comes in HOLD it and ship with the dcc's then we'll be square with the shipping. I have like 3 tanks so I don't need this one...just thought red would be pretty with the LT

I am going to have to do some research, this needs to be rectified.. we all need to know more about batteries especially now in light of recent events.

From everything I have read on here those AW IMR batteries are actually safer than a protected battery. They are "safe chemistry" vs. a chip. There is plenty of battery information here on ECF you can look at.
Well ya, but nothing as convenient as a chart listing pvs along with their recommended batts.
It really does get confusing with all the different devices and battery/charger types out there
I don't have a list but from what I've read the AW IMR Batteries are best with VV Mods and the protected batteries are better for regular 3.7 Mods.
The L-Rider (LavaTube) is designed to only accept the shorter IMR batteries. The protected batteries will fit and work but the cap won't screw in all the way.
I'm not an expert but that is what I read on ecf and what I use.

I will be able to make an unlimited supply of tests kits, it's all USA sourced, so easy to get what I need and fairly quickly.

Not a problem. As it turns out, I have to wait for batts anyway, as every single website on earth appears to be out of stock on the AW IMR 18350's!!
