What's a Kick?

The Kick is a variable wattage module that you install in a 18650 Mod and it will boost the wattage up to ten Watts no matter what the voltage or resistance of your carto. It is made by Evolv the people that make the Darwin and uses the same technology. A Darwin cost about 250-300 though and the Kick is 45.00. They are very hard to get though being as there is a big demand worldwide.

(((eyes googling out of my head!!!))) What is the second one with the cone, it doesn't have the metal in the center, so looks like something different than the regular 14350 cone. I love the wood on that one. I theeenk I'm still holding out for the 18650 w cone in redwood burl, like txtumbleweeds show stopper, but each and every one of those is flat out outstanding! You know, up until i found the 'Lets See Wood mod' thread, and tx and the other regulars there showed me the less expensive options, I was under the impression that wood mods were all in the hundreds of dollars range... ie: totally inaccessible to me. And I'm not new to ecf, either. I just had no idea you could get one of these handcrafted wood pv's for under $100. I was stunned.

And will all of the 18650 versions pretty much be ok to stick a kick in with 18500 batt? I've got a few other vv pv's, but I'd love that option for down the road if its possible.

And lastly... do you have any sort of a program where you'll accept a mod the buyer already owns, and craft wood around it? Guessing not, but figured it was worth an ask.

Thanks, Tumbleweed. Sounds interesting!
I have a question about the Go Go 3.5 ml cartomizers; I loaded this one with RY4 which is a clear juice. It still tastes ok, but is it burnt? Do I need to clean it?

Any carto with that fluffy filler in it will get a little brownish with use, regardless of how clear the juice is. However the darker juices certainly make the filler darker than the lighter ones. My rule of thumb (though other people do it differently) is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. In other words, if it tastes great and hits well, you're good to go. If it starts getting harder to draw on, or if the taste is affected, time for a clean. Don't know other people do em, and I've never used that kinda carto, so it might be different (i use resurrectors and boge, most often, which are different varieties of carto with filler, for 510), but I just put a little baking soda in the top hole, pour in white vinegar, and plug top hole with my thumb so it sort of does a '3rd grade volcano' effect forcing the fluid down thru the filler and out the bottom. Its sort of an 'internal powerwash' for the carto filler. I do that a few x, then flush the heck out of it with water, and then let dry at least 24 hours. They might recommend a different method with those, though, but I've found that much more effective than cleaning with alcohol or boiling.

edit: oops! I forgot a step! After rinsing incredibly thoroughly with water, I do the 'reverse taryn spin' method to drive all the water possible out of the filler, before setting it aside to finish drying on its own. You can find videos showing you how to do the 'reverse taryn spin' on youtube, or all around ecf. You don't HAVE to do this, but I find I occasionally get a musty rather mildew-ed filler when I don't do it.

Hey Eric,

You're probably the only vendor who would do this...do you think the next time you place an order for the numb/mini-numb, you could mebbe order me a blue one? I swear I will buy it, you won't get screwed over.

Please and thanks,
Cookster

I will certainly ask for it :)

No, Sandy, it's not burnt. That's totally normal and does the same thing in all cartos, it's just with the clearos we can see it. I think of it more as a little caramelizing and making it better. hehe

If you push the tip all the way down it looks better. :)

My company name is DiscountVapers :)

I do not mark these up much if any, it's goes mostly to the maker. That';s the way I like it, there are small overhead costs but this is just to get them out there, not to make crazy profit. I've seen some box wood mods cost 100's for much less quality and craftsmanship. Anyone can buy a premade wood box, stain it and put a battery holder and carto connector on it. Selling that for a lot of money is not something I would do.

Not sure, it would depend on the unit itself, I am sure it could be done but there would be a premium for a one off.
Send me an email, with pics.
