No, Sandy, it's not burnt. That's totally normal and does the same thing in all cartos, it's just with the clearos we can see it. I think of it more as a little caramelizing and making it better. hehe

If you push the tip all the way down it looks better. :)

Thanks, Dawg! :) Good to know!

Are you talking about one made specifically for the ego with the skirt to cover the threads on ego, like the stardust? I think its also called C4 clearomizer for ego? If so, you need to sort of tilt it upside down and swirl it a bit every little while to keep the wicks up at the top nice and moist and saturated, and that will lessen the dry hits, considerably. Though if you're keeping it fullish, that should be less of an issue. Hopefully someone else has a better answer for you, borjis. But if you're talking about the vision grande or the 3.5ml, I'm curious myself. I got one of each with a pv I got, and I MUST be doing something wrong with mine. I have the tightest draw on mine, even with the tiny black 'cap' removed from the mouthpiece, and I can't get rid of the burned taste. I'm curious to hear answers on that one, myself. Although I am using a rather thick all vg juice, and they really aren't ideally suited for a thicker mix, I don't think.

And yes, +1 on the world vaping day sales. Those, right after the st pats day sales, tapped me out. I'm waiting on the wooden indulgence, anyway. rofl I do have to say, the fact that you're offering such a lovely product with hours of labor involved at a reasonable price will definitely keep me coming back again and again. I'm already looking at a few years worth of a wish list. lol But the helpful guys in the 'show off wood mod' thread gave me a bunch of links to vendors who do wood, and your stuff was just so lovely and so reasonable, that it was a total no brainer. Seeing txtumbleweeds' new beauty just sealed the deal. ;) So even though I haven't given you any money yet, you've definitely got a new client for life. I've been poking around to see what sort of cartos etc you offer as well, to get some of my basic supplies through you. BTW, do you carry or would you consider the 1.5 or 2.0 ohm 510 dual coil CLEAROMIZERS? I see you have one on the site thats dual coil and clear, but that looks like it has filler in it. I've tried those, and they perform much like a stainless dc. I'm hunting for the ones that have no filler.. they're a true clearomizer. I'm not seeing them, but of course that doesn't mean you don't have em. I've used a bunch of clearo things, and they're the only ones for me that really work perfectly with my setup. And I'm so excited you have the tinted dual coil tanks so reasonably! I'm really thrilled with your selection, so far. ;)

BTW, what's the right term for these mods that are clad in wood. Do you just call them woodies, or is there a vaper term for em?

It helps not to tighten it all the way flush with battery or adapter, Gotta leave room for vent holes to be able to draw in air. Just recieved my L.T and had to use extender because dualcoil tank went flush with top and did'nt allow any air to flow-thru

I tried that just now...it helps a little

Orachel, I have several of those tanks and I had one that did the same thing, never could get a good draw. It was way too tight no matter what I did so Eric replaced it. That's another reason to buy from DiscountVapers, if anything isn't right he replaces it so you don't have to worry if you get a faulty product like you do with many vendors.

I wonder if there is a procedure to "refurbish" them getting to work like new.
It's a good vape.

I'm curious about this too. Since I vape a lot of sweet, dark juice I need to be able to dry burn the coils. Has anyone heard if it's possible with these eGo Visions? That's why I love the Go-go dual coil and regular cartos, they're easy to dry burn and get them to work like new again.

Thanks! That helped me, too. Have a steel LT on backorder, and just got tanks for it. Was wondering if picking up an extra adapter would be a good idea, so I'll grab one just in case. ;)

Oh my gosh... that is amazing. The main reason I don't experiment more often is I tend to have bad 'dud' karma. lol Seems like I often end up with the bad egg, and though I'll attempt troubleshooting, it would be amazing to know that I'll at least end up with a functional one of something I buy, eventually. I'm amazed I've been in vaping community for a while now, and am just now finding out about this great vendor! Looks like my new wood obsession led me down a path to a terrific conscientious vendor at least. ;) Plus, I work pretty hard to get my friends/family to switch from smoking to vaping, and its nice to be able to send them to one vendor where they can grab just about anything and get fair treatment. ;)

BTW, I noticed there are organic liquids which are my fave, but is there a way to get larger quanties than 15ml that I'm just not seeing, or do you guys just get multiple bottles?

Yes there are people dryburning them. Here is a video on how to completely rebuild one. It isn't necessary to do this to simply dryburn them though.

Not yet, waiting for some larger bottles. :)
I have had one person order 16 bottles, I felt bad but not much I can do without bigger bottles. I do not want to put them in plastic bottles. This is a special liquid, need a glass Amber bottle in my opinion.

for those asking about the CE4+
My method, which works pretty well is to wash them out and let the air dry, then blow fairly hard into the top of the carto, then the bottom, the air flow seems to fluff up the wick a bit and allow it to work normal, there are mods adding more wicking materials but they will still get matted down.

You could also take it apart and fluff the wick up by hand although I have not tried it.

rofl... You poor thing! I've been on that mad hunt for amber and cobalt ounce bottles w droppers in decent volume at a good price. The amber seems to be less expensive than the blue, which is good for you. I've found em a few places, pretty reasonably, but guessing as a vendor you've got access to some sourcing that i don't. I wanna say the cheapest I've found them was around 85c, but I might be remembering that inaccurately. They aren't easy to find, that's for sure. Good luck! And I'll definitely be on the lookout for the bigger size. I'm excited to try that organic tobacco! I've been vaping organics for upwards of a year now, but never found a good tobacco and your reviews are fantastic!

So a question about the Mini Lavatube thing. I'm thinking about getting one. What's the dif between that and a regular sized one? Does the battery not last as long because it is smaller? Or is it just lighter and easier to handle?

Yes and yes! The mini uses a 700 mah battery and the 18650 uses a 1600 mah battery. They are identical except for the length.
