I have both the wick and I have ego Vision Clearomizers coming WITH longer wicks, made especially by my request :)
I just haven't put the wick on my site yet...(I also have wire)

Happy dance, happy dance! So excited about the long wick ego clearos! So cool that they made those to your request. That short wick thing always seemed a major design flaw, to me... just a total nonintuitive design. But with longer wicks... that is just about the perfect clearo!

I'll try it w/the longer wicks to see how it goes. Personally, the way I vape, they've been absolutely perfect for me already. :)

This is GREAT news! I love these. Maybe next time you can have them make a version that holds 3ml? What gauge is the wire that is used on the Vision eGo CE4+ Clearomizers? Is the wire stainless? So are you getting the wick/coil assembly all made up so you can just drop it into a disassembled Vision eGo CE4+ Clearomizer? You are the best Eric!

I'm going to try a couple with the longer wicks as well. I made a couple with extended wicks, but they didn't wick as well as the stubby version and had to tilted regardless. Could well be because I used a thicker 2mm wick, and were used with 100% VG juice. So I'll be interested to see how the factory version compares.

For those interested in re-wicking these, there are several very good threads in the atomizer mod thread.

The things i tried had 4 super long (down all the way to the bottom) super fat wicks and they wicked great, but the design was a little different than the ego, so not sure how they'll work on them. I'm excited to find out, though! I'd think if nothing else the longer wicks would stop the 'charging' I've had to do with the wicks (holding pc upside down so they get saturated).

BTW, I'm gonna go check out that atomizer area, cause the ones I have (again, not the ego, they're dual coils, but similar design) are still working great, the casing just cracked. Hoping someone has a tut to replace the casing on something like that. I have a dead vision 2.5ml and a dead vision 5ml that I could use, or maybe just buy some tubing and have it cut for me, or the ego tubes when they die... But I'd love to repurpose those, somehow, and get some more life out of em.

No colors for the longer wick Ce4s.. one thing at a time Mr. Demanding... :)
Geeshe.. get a product specifically made for you and still not satisfied :)

The wick is 3M XC-18 from Omega
PDF on it here: http://www.omega.com/Temperature/pdf/XC_XC4_SLEEVING.pdf

I'll be putting it up onsite soon.

I feel asleep after the dentist visit today. Root canal went badly. The root canal from the other day was xrayed and the tooth is cracked.. so now it has to be pulled.. $800.00 for nothing. But at least I got a new gift from the dentist.. a second infection! Yea me.

So anyway, the reason I am posting this is my responses for the last few hours have been non existent and now I am very behind... :(

Man I hate anything to do with dental work.

What really grates me is they charge 2-3 times more for paying cash, than they agree to accept from insurance carriers for the same procedure.

The wife had a perfectly healthy tooth split in half a month ago. Cost almost 4K for an implant. And that's with insurance!

Oh man... You're being such a good sport about this! I'd be steamed... royally ticked... over paying for a root canal they either couldn't do without cracking the tooth, or didn't catch cracked tooth on the x-ray ahead of time. I had something similar happen with a bridge way back when. I sat down with the business manager and told her I didn't care what they billed the insurance company... I wasn't going to pay the out of pocket portion on a bad dental procedure. She was snippy about it, but I spoke to the dentist and said it was their error, and he could either have my money out of pocket for the procedure they botched (was close to $600 out of pocket), OR my continued business for years to come... not both. Business manager never sent me a bill, or reported it to collections. Gosh, you're already paying in pain, 1000fold. Now they want your money on a moot procedure? And you get another infection as your parting gift? I'd dispute the bill, personally. Sometimes they just bill you on stuff because they think they can get away with it. And crossing fingers you feel better soon! My father has been getting his long range dentistry done right at same time as yours, and I've seen the suffering firsthand. Here's a hug, and hope it's all resolved soon, and you're back to a mouth that doesn't cause you constant pain.

White! Wow.. that would be interesting. Red will work too, since I already have a red carto. I can already see what my next order is going to look like.
