Ovale V8
DiscountVapers_Ovale_V8_a__51425_zoom.jpg

Please note these have BLACK buttons NOT white.
I have KITS and Bodies, in both black and white.
The white one has black buttons.

Ovale v8 is in stock now and I opened one and tested it and I am EXTREMELY excited.
I haven't been this excited about a product in a long time, not after a hands on anyway.

Please keep in mind this is a first impression, just one hour into it.

The heft, it's heavier and bulkier than the V6, it fits my hand absolutely perefectly as the V6 felt dainty.
It seems to be made much better. The black shininess that I thought would turn me off isn't bad and I like it (although it accumulates fingerprints)

The performance:

Better that the Tox (lol) better than the Lava.
No joke, this is on par with the V6 but with the added ability to go up to 6V in .1 incremetal steps.
This truly is an everyman VV, it's got a low price and performs very well.

I have a CE3 on it (new product for me, up next) and at 3.3v it hits like a champ!
I am going to put a dual coil 3.0 on it later and see what it does at higher voltages.

If this holds up, doesn't develop any faults after it's broken in then I'd have to say this is the best PV's I ever tried.
I am not going to take one apart but I believe the sides are glued properly, it doesn't sem to have any defects.

The downside:
Getting the batteries in was a pain in the ...., it's a really tight fit for the AW 700's I carry, but it does have a battery pull (the fabric you plce under the battery to pull them out easier)
The battery compartment needs to be both pulled down and pushed in slightly to open. Took me a minute to get it open the first time.
The button, great button but I am not sure if it is me or not, it does not seem to have too much sway, meaning errant side pushes won't fire it, you have to press the center of the button. Not really a downside, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Wow, LD and Big D were right, these are really really good!
You have to fill them upside down but that's not a negative really. Flavor is great and the hit is great (especially on a V8)

I realize this all sounds a little "sales pitchy" but believe me. I am impressed by both items I received today!

Woot. CE3's are exactly the right ones. Obviously identical to what I have right down to the instruction card. Only difference is drip tip, and name on the package.

The coils on these are rugged. I have one I modded to work well with 100%VG that has had at least 50ml run through, and has been cleaned and dry-burned every 2-3 fill ups. My wife and I both use these extensively and have yet to kill one.

Hi Eric

I'm interested in the Ovale v8 and have a few questions.

1. Does the unit come as a 510 connector? And does that mean that the adapter that comes with the kit an ego connection?

2. Will you be carrying the blue 18350 batteries that come with the kit? I already have several battery chargers - UltraFire Trustfire so I can do without another one.

3. Do you know how many amps its rated for?

I'm a moderate to heavy vapor and I want a mod that can last for 10+ hours on 1 set of batteries. Do you think the V8 will fit that bill?

Thanks

Looking good! I'm with David, hopefully you still have some, come the first of June.

Has all the contents been confirmed? Also, the new CE6, will it fit into this thing without an adapter? It looks like the base is just a normal 510 instead of the recessed eGo of the CE4.

Contents of kit: (note this all has to be confirmed)

Mouthpiece 5 pcs
Atomizer 1 pcs
V8 Body
Adapter
Battery 900mah 2 pcs (18350?)
Gift box
Instuctions

Yes you can use any 510 drip tip with the ce3. I've been using them for a few weeks and they work very good. They don't hold enough juice for me and the fill hole is very tiny and hard to see if you have poor eyesight like I do. I prefer the 3ml size but these work very good. They are long and skinny and don't look as good as the ce-4 clearos. They do look good and work good with my 14650 or any device that uses a cone. I wish they had a bottom coil ce3 with the cone shape like the clearo that held at least 2 ml and then I would be happy. lol :)

OK I gave in an ordered my first box mod. It was just too hard to resist such a great price. The V8 (sounds like a car or drink) looks like it will be very comfortable to vape unlike other box mods I've seen. So are these batteries wired in parallel or series? I guess I better go read up on my new mod and find out what I'm getting.

Yup, just pulled the trigger on a V8 myself. Almost got a V6 before, never did....glad I waited. Then, figured I'd get some juice while I was at it, wanted to try out a couple of the new cartos/clearos stuff, and well, might as well grab this while I'm here, and a little of that, and.......yea......check out about a gabazillion dollars later :shock::shock:
