Yup, just pulled the trigger on a v8 myself. Almost got a V6 before, never did....glad I waited. Then, figured I'd get some juice while I was at it, wanted to try out a couple of the new cartos/clearos stuff, and well, might as well grab this while I'm here, and a little of that, and.......yea......check out about a gabazillion dollars later :shock::shock:

Yep I feel for ya... Went to order one for myself and said what the heck and ordered one for the wife too. Then 8 batteries, some drip tips and why not a couple packs of the CE3s. Hell it's only money right?? ;)

David, I don't have the brand new version, just the V6... I'm an EXTREMELY heavy vaper, and my batts always go longer than 10 hours on it.

Eric... you're TOTALLY right!! Could not think for the life of me what the white ovale reminded me of! I was thinking Panda bear, but same difference! I always go black or silver, but may have to do white in that. Panda pv. lol

Those ce3s look like a must try for me!

Ok, now I have a question for you. Getting a friend's husband vaping, and we're looking for a VV ego battery that is also a passthrough... but here's the kicker... has to be able to be standalone battery also. Basically something like the twist, with a passthrough function. I know you have the vv passthrough that has to stay plugged in, but is there any product like that that can be disconnected? Driving myself around the bend with this one. Oh, and also... he's a master woodworker! So that's very cool. I can tell if he falls in love w vaping (likely!) he's gonna be an amazing modder. lol I'm sending him one of my 'starter' packages w cheap 650 ego kit and few cartos and such, and making sure to include a bit of that Peanut Butter Cup juice of yours I love so much. lol And already gave him link to dv. ;) Only hold up is really want to get him one more batt, but really want it to go at least to 4.2 and be a passthrough and a walk around, and I just don't know if that exists. lol

I had a little problem with the new CE5+ wanting to wick so I looked at it really good and found that the little condom with the slots on the center shaft was cutting of the flow of juice to the coil.

So me being a tinkerer and ......ed mechanic, I cut the slots 1/32 deeper to give the wick a little more room and that did the trick. No more dry hits and works great.

So there ya go a easy fix..

I had a similar problem with one of mine, its a height issue on the center post, with an ego adapter its off a little bit and the center tube gets pushed up slightly forcing the silicone cap down on the ceramic. I used an o-ring out of an old ce4 at the bottom center joint where the base connects to the tube on the inner threads as a spacer to keep that from happening while using adapters.

LOL, tou guys are cracking me up over here! LD, when's your V8 making it to you? I love your reviews and can't wait to see what you have to say about it:)

Thank you bigpman. It should be here tomorrow. That means that there is a chance the review could go up Sunday night.
