Sparky is an awesome puppy. During the Redneck show last Wednesday, I was on the side-camera. Behind me in the camera's view, sparky decided to hump a stuffed animal. I lost it, I laughed so hard. The worst part, I swear he was smiling in the camera the whole time!

Dogs are the best, lol!

I think that I have come to the conclusion that I am going to stop trying different clearomizers for a bit. I put my trusty CE3 back on my PV and immediately started getting big clouds of vapor, good TH and flavor without any gurgling or issues. Why mess with something that works, right?

Eric, if you get the 3 and 6ml versions of the CE3, I'll be down for those and will pick up some more of the regulars when you get them back in stock.

P.S. the top coil version was a bust for me. They leak, gurgle and provide a mouthfull of juice. With a ton of fiddling with the top seal it does get better, but I am putting them in the bottom of the drawer for emergencies only....

I've been vaping my Apollo all afternoon with no problems. Wicks real good with no burnt taste so far at all. I would say it vapes a lot like the Vivi Nova only cooler looking and holds more juice. It is longer than the Nova. I'm real happy with it so far and now to see if it holds up as good as the Nova has for me. I have had it suck up a little juice up into the top reservoir but I don't think I had it screwed down good. I will have to keep an eye on that but it was easily sopped up and I didn't get any juice in my mouth. I've been using it mostly with my LT but it looks and works good on my Ovale V8. It is a little top heavy but still stands up if you don't bump it to hard. It is a nice modern look on the V8 being as they both have a unique design.

To anyone who has the E1 Clearomizers - ReVive - v2, are they holding up when you dry burn them? I read a review on the DV site by Bob that said "The coil wire is thinner and more fragile than on CE4+. It can't take as much dry burning when cleaning before it melts. " How long are you getting out of the coil before having to replace it? I bought 2 when they first came out and neither one worked. Eric had said at the time that there was a problem with the first gen. innards and that he was getting replacements that would fix the problem. What is your experience as far as reliability and durability with these?

Urge

I bought one when they first showed up at DV....still using it on the original coil. I was complaining yesterday....but got good advice. It was flooded, and straightened right up when I reseated the innards and blew it out. Just cleaned it last night, and getting ready to load it up again.

All righty......haven't filled it yet, but just went in an pulled the top wick. Love it when the fixes come before you find the problem.

I'll need to empty it and clean it tomorrow to pull the wick....hope that makes a difference, I really love the concept of a repairable CE4. Right now It's muted and not a ton of flavor.

I was in the kitchen when you rang. It did ring though. I tried hitting you back. I'm on a call now, but I will check and see if you are on after I'm done.

It's okay bigp, we can try again tonight. I get home about 6PM eastern. Until then, I am stuck in my office.

Know what sucks about my office, I have this big window and awesome view... but my desk is placed so my back is to the window. ACK!

Sure thing, since I am on my way to work now, it doesn't look like I'll get home until about 630-7 anyways. haven't had a window in my office for many years, but that's the life of a systems administrator. we're always stuck in the back closet:( makes it a little harder for people to bug you though ;)

going to clean the E3 today and see if removing the top wick will help.

I am still in the initial testing phases, so I haven't un-braid it. But, I am not sure if that would help. I will try it though.

May be dumb....lol....but somebody told me to do that once. I am still on my original Vivi Nova head....I unbraided the wick and clipped it to about 1/2" and it works great.

It's not dumb. Fluffing the wick has been around for a long time. It is just that the design of these, may not benefit from it... or it may. Either way, it can't hurt. I will be trying it when I get home.

I was system admin for years. Luckily, I design systems now, so I don't have to administer them. I now have a team for that. :) The sucky pary... this was a "lateral" move, so I still make the same. But, I got that window. Oh, that window!

I work for a small Software and website development company and my job duties consist of maintaining both our office network and our production server network. We host almost 500 sites and have technology ranging from Windows Server 2003/2008, VMWare, SQL, MySQL, CentOS, PHP, ColdFusion and .NET.

I have the pleasure of designing all the hardware configurations that we use, as well as maintaining them. I also do all the launches on the sites that we develop. So, I have a base in programming, mostly in ColdFusion and PHP, and I am trying to learn some .NET now. That's the nice part about working around developers, I am constantly learning (although, that's pretty much what a sys admin has to do to keep up with the times) new things.

When we finally expand to our very own building, we currently take up a floor in a 4 story building, I have been promised to have my own office that is next to the server room that will be housed in class for a nice presentation to clients that walk through our office. I should then have my very own window as well:)

Maybe one day, I will get lucky enough to get my own team to manage all the peon stuff that I have to deal with day to day. If I could get this VoIP phone system off my hands, I would be very happy, not mentioning the desktop support...oh, how I hate desktop support!!

E3 Update:

I cleaned it today and pulled out the little top wick sitting on top and that has seemed to fix all my issues with it. It is now hitting smoother, more airflow, the vapor is good and the flavor got a TON better. I am now very happy with the E3 and will get some replacement parts and another complete set on my next order. A working CE4 style clearo, that is rebuildable/replaceable, this is a dream come true:)

LD, you were correct, these things do rock!!
